What is the definition of “Star Wars music”? Maybe, to paraphrase Jimmy Carter, you just know it when you hear it.

Most people would answer by pointing to the man who invented and canonized this unique subgenre: John Williams, composer of nine Star Wars films from 1977 to 2019, the original themes for two spinoffs and a district of Disneyland. Williams established an orchestral, operatic musical language, rich with tuneful character themes and draped in classical tradition, a style now so deeply familiar and revered that it is, for many fans, holy scripture.

But as this sprawling galaxy continues to expand, the artists behind every new adventure are questioning what the musical topography should — and can — be.

In the most recent Darwinian leap, a trailer for the second season of Andor was soundtracked with the countrified clang of electric guitar in Steve Earle’s Iraq War protest anthem, “The Revolution Starts Now.

The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined that actor Michelle Trachtenberg died from complications related to diabetes mellitus. She was 39.

Trachtenberg was found unresponsive in her Manhattan apartment on February 26. Emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced her dead. Authorities reported no signs of foul play.

Initially, the medical examiner did not perform an autopsy, citing a request from the family based on religious considerations. In the absence of criminal suspicion, the office allowed the request. A final ruling was made following analysis of laboratory samples, which confirmed the cause of death.

At the time of her death, NBC News reported that Trachtenberg had recently undergone a liver transplant. The medical examiner’s statement did not mention that procedure in its ruling.

Trachtenberg began acting professionally in early childhood. Her career started with television commercials and a recurring role as Lily Montgomery on All My Children.

George Lowe, the voice actor and comedian best known for his work as Space Ghost on the cult favorite series Space Ghost Coast to Coast, has died. He was 67.

A rep for Lowe confirmed his death to Rolling Stone. An exact cause of death wasn’t given, but according to a statement shared by Lowe’s family on Wednesday, March 5, Lowe died after facing “challenges” following elective heart surgery.

“George Lowe’s family has been grief stricken and unable to respond regarding his passing, on March 02, 2025, until now,” the statement read.

George Lowe, a veteran voice actor whose credits include the title role in Space Ghost Coast to Coast, died on March 2 at age 67, a spokesperson confirms for TVLine.

Lowe reportedly passed following a long illness, his longtime friend “Marvelous” Marvin Boone shared on Facebook.

A NYPD spokesperson said Trachtenberg died at her apartment this morning. After responding to a 911 call at her building, police found her “unconscious and unresponsive.” Trachtenberg was pronounced dead after emergency medical services arrived. A cause of death was not immediately available, but authorities do not believe her death was suspicious.

Robot Chickenis getting ready to celebrate two decades of entertaining audiences from all over the world with unpredictable parodies. According to Variety, the acclaimed animated series is preparing to launch a marathon on Adult Swim in order to celebrate the occasion. Episodes from every season of the show will air this month on the channel during weeknights, Monday through Thursday beginning at 12:30am Et/Pt, and a few Robot Chicken specials airing on Sundays at 1am Et/Pt. Viewers will get a chance to take a look at some of their favorite moments from the legacy of Robot Chicken once again.

“Robot Chicken” was not the first stop-motion comedy show to feature commercial toys for sketches, but the show has now lasted longer than anyone involved with it could have ever anticipated. For co-creator Seth Green, the original impetus for what would become “Robot Chicken” was a rather simple desire.

“We didn’t set out to make a show, and especially weren’t intending to make a show that was going to last a long time,” Green told IndieWire ahead of the 20th anniversary of the Adult Swim animated sketch comedy show. “My partner Matt Senreich and I were trying to figure out how to make just animated sketch comedy shorts using toys. I thought that was really fun.” Twenty years later, and “Robot Chicken” is still popular. It has over 200 episodes, has parodied everything from “Sesame Street” and “He-Man” to “Star Wars” and “Pokémon,” and earned two Annie Awards and six Emmys.

Yet another season of Celebrity Jeopardy is here, and fans are excited to see which stars and public figures they will witness competing on the popular game show. For the unversed, the competitive show features 27 popular celebrities fighting out to win the title, an entry into the Tournament of Champions, and prize money donated to a charity of their choice.

The format remains similar to the original game show Jeopardy, which featured groups of clues. Celebrity Jeopardy first premiered in September 2022 and was hosted by Mayim Bialik. She was later replaced by Ken Jennings, who was also the host of Jeopardy. Season three of the ABC series is expected to air new episodes soon. Warner Bros Discovery is testing the integration of its linear HBO cable channels through the streaming service Max for a handful of subscribers.

On Wednesday, the company said its linear channels will offer hit shows like “Game of Thrones,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Succession” along with documentaries, sports shows and licensed films.

The channels are the same linear networks available on cable and satellite. Some services, like Amazon’s Prime Video Channels, The Roku Channel and the Walt Disney Company’s Hulu, have offered access to HBO’s linear feeds over streaming when a customer buys a subscription to Max through those platforms.

Funko is serving up some nostalgia for Adult Swim fans with its latest line of figures.
