  • It was an outstanding production considering the 24hrs it took to be made. First of all we have the story, intriguing enough and unfolding in such a way it grabs your attention from the beginning till the end. Acting was very good, solid and convincing. Both camera work and editing are stylish (I was going to say well planned, but I might have been damn wrong), neat and precise. Some of the shots (staircase to name one) were beautiful. Ordinarily I wouldn't be interested in this kind of suspense story, but for some reason, the way that sequence was done really drew me in, and I couldn't help but stick around to see what happened. I think the acting was well done -- especially by the male character. On the whole, I liked this movie and I wish the filmmakers the best of luck.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Young man Tom (well played by Tom Wontner) hooks up with Rhiannon (an excellent and alluring performance by ravishing redhead Gillian MacGregor) through an Internet dating service. When Tom meets Rhiannon in person, she turns out to be much more than he bargained for. Director/co-writer Brian Barnes expertly relates the compelling premise in a straightforward manner, builds a considerable amount of tension, makes inspired use of classical music, further spices things up with a fine line in wickedly amusing dark sarcastic humor, and delivers one doozy of a surprise grim ending that's capped by a perfect closing line. Wontner and especially MacGregor do bang-up work in their roles. The sharp cinematography gives the picture a pleasing polished look while the unfamiliar London, England locations effectively evoke a strong mood of dread and isolation. A nifty little short.
