Misunderstood like all masterpieces
The main theme is a duo of private investigators who get really small time cases yet manage to turn it into an adventure. There is a sordid touch of humour, a bit of drama but more importantly some totally flawed but lovable characters. This was truly a masterpiece and we finally had something that was different, based on off the wall humour, actor strength and unexpected plots, all turning around everyday issues that can actually happen to any of us, rather than the tired old crap re-served on every channel century after century where all that matters is looks and special effects but apparently the majority of people out there would rather watch 'reality' shows.
