    Warning: Spoilers
This Kanti Shah gem should be released worldwide as MEN IN BLACK III. The two supermen actors go around dressed in complete black - Shankar (Dharmendra) with a permanently constipated expression and Arjun (Mithun) usually with a bottle in hand. Maybe both men are in permanent mourning because of the state of the society they live in. Apparently Gandhi's India is now overrun by "Underworld" Dons as the clownish villains like to call themselves; they also have a penchant for committing their heinous crimes in full view of the public, in broad daylight. And why not, when the keepers of the law are portrayed as inefficient jokers who can be fooled at will. And rape seems to be the modus operandi of the reigning villains of the day. All grudges are settled by seeking out the female relative of the enemy and raping them in broad daylight, fully clothed, I might add. Just when all seems lost for society and "Underworld Don" Luuka is set to become the undisputed Don of the day, hope materialises in the forms of Shankar and Arjun, the two roving gunda-bashers, with fists of iron and supreme fighting skills. With their entry, the villains might as well pack their bags and retire, or find another country to torment. Within the space of a few scenes, Shankar pulls down a helicopter from the sky and catches a bullet with his hands, courtesy his "panja from Punjab". From then on even God cannot help the villains. Perhaps the director Kanti Shah could have, if they would have appealed to him to make them a little tougher to add some dramatic tension to the plot.

If you appreciate this film as a good film, then you have a brain of "Solid LOHA". If you like it as a comic gem, then you have a heart of "SOLID GOLD".
  • So far what I've seen, this is the worst movie.

    See it to believe it.

Dharmendra at 50 who can barely stand. Looks like he will fall down at any time is the hero.

Yet he is the destroyer of underworld who pulls down helicopters, stops bullets.

Mithun disappears for most part of the action. You have Manisha and Govinda for a special appearnce. They have some witty dialogues.

Lots of skin show, violence and most damaging Stupidity.

Maybe you can just watch it

This was the first Kanti Shah film that i watched and understood his style of making off beat exploitation films which later earned him the reputation of B grade "so bad that so good" filmmaker. Back in those days it was hard to differentiate between a mainstream film and a supposedly B grade flick due to lack of awareness in the media,. My grandfather who was an ardent fan of Dharam ji rented this film for 40 rupees back in the year 2000.Thankfully i didn't sat along with him to watch the film and decided to catch it later on. I was surprised and bewildered with the film's amateurish plot, intentional non linear flow of horrendous scenes and abysmal dialogues which intrigued me to watch the entire movie. In a nutshell the film induces elements of violence and sex and exploits them in a no holds barred manner that doesn't shies away from ignoring the principles of movie making and script. The travesty lies in the biased and motivated portrayal of women as underrated when they are raped in full public view and the extensive use of innuendos in dialogues that are directed towards the morals and ethics of being an women. Of the cast Dharam ji and Mithun da deliver a convincing performance , Mohan joshi as the Mafia don "Luka" is okay , the rest of the cast is routine in the form of corrupt police officials and politicians. The reason why i rated the film so high despite having such serious flaws is that it doesn't fails to keep u engrossed till the very end which definitely isn't an easy task. There are moments of "Laugh Out Loud " in an unintentional humor which are in my understanding epic , serious geographical errors when the villain is chased down by the hero, laughable cast as henchmen who appear to ave been picked up on the street just because they are dark and appear as goons, in one particular scene Dharam ji is hit by a bullet which he collects in his palm at ease as it fails to penetrate his tissue probably because Dharam ji happens to have "Iron limb". With these scenes the film neither qualifies as kitsch nor a film it's just a time pass entertainer with leave your brains at home declaration.
  • This Movie is specifically aimed at adults due to horrific rape scenes, this movie is full up of them, I rented this film, because it had Mithun, Dharmendra, and govinda, however Govinda is only in special appearance just for about 10 min. I would say not to buy this film, it USN't very good at all. There is a scene which all audience will say it is stupid, its where the bad guy is escaping in a helicopter, and dharmendra uses his muscles to bring down the helicopter. The action in this movie I would rate it 7 or 8, but the movie it self I would rate 2, so I repeat this film could spoil you r child, do not watch it, or you'll regret.
