Five years later Esclavas del sadismo was filmed and released, without a dwarf but with a very disturbing young man playing the dwarf part. Erotic scenes, neo-noir elements, violence and a hard view of society. Esclavas del sadismo is a classic banned in Mexico and hard to find, but very enjoyable for every horror fan. A masterpiece! A must see!

perfectx-7141515 May 2022Now my headline is just a response to the other reviewer who left a glowing review for this film. Now before I continue my review I will point out that my copy did not have subtitles and while I speak Spanish I couldn't exactly follow the plot too well. But be that as it may I generally got the gist of it and I could safely say that this was just an average film to me. Not as sadistic and dark as I was expecting from what I've read from other reviews. It was a bit dark and weird. But alas I didn't find myself too into it. Maybe if it had subtitles and my copy was a bit better to really see what the hell was going on then I might have rated it a bit better. But personally I just don't get what's the big deal here.
