Kazakh TV talking head Borat is dispatched to the United States to report on the greatest country in the world. With a documentary crew in tow, Borat becomes more interested in locating and marrying Pamela Anderson.
An article by Bojan Pancevski and Carmiola Ionescu, published in the U.K.'s Mail on Sunday on 11th November 2006, reported that the town of Glod in Romania, which plays Borat's hometown in Kazakhstan, had "...1,000 residents live in dilapidated huts... ...

In the beginning when Borat is walking, we see some kids beside him, when the camera zooms in the kids have dispersed or changed.
End credits begin with 'Now stand for National anthem' as a mock Kazakhstan National anthem plays with archive footage.
