| an excellent upgrade!
This movie is very well put together. The look and feel are excellent. I think that even those people that were excited by the Left Behind series becoming a movie but maybe were a bit disappointed by the first and/or second movie, need to see this one. I'm not sure that it will truly appeal to a large, non-believing audience, as it doesn't completely 'tell' the viewer the background to the story...although the script tries.

I personally enjoyed Kirk Cameron's role this time -- since 1) he now looks old enough and worldly-wise enough to be Buck (sorry, he was not cast well in the first two movies) 2) Kirk Cameron's explanation of the gospel is excellent and heart-felt and 3) being surround by some excellent actors, everyone characters came more alive. I believe that the director had a good, solid hand on where to place the individual actors so that they showed strength as part of the ensemble.

I really look forward to the continuing saga of Left Behind!
