Not very convincing
The story is not very convincing, and while the staging and acting are fair the offering suffers some from lack of freshness and real life. Elizabeth R. Carpenter is the author and Theodore Marston put it on. The photography is not quite so good as the usual Vitagraph product. - The Moving Picture World, July 18, 1914
