Roy Karch's hopefully forgotten HOTEL O picks up some steam in Part 2 thanks to streamlining the stupid Shakespearean concept, but the bad news for potential fans is that the next one (3) is terrible. I couldn't quit while I was ahead.
After a few phrases from the bard are thrown in the opening scene, it's just a conventional mixed-combo exercise as the storyline remains relatively static. Cop Steve Hatcher has sex with Alexis Amore, looking fabulous in a tight pink dress, until it's removed in due course. AA is actually DD where it counts, and when Hatcher removes his condom she receives a facial.
Nina Hartley is back as the lead though her name is changed (misspelled) this time as Moana instead of Mona, too cute by a half. Another whore Olivia Saint humps Guy DiSilva in the hotel bathroom, more mixed-combo action including anal sex, with surprise, surprise, no condom this time. Pattern for Part 2 is condoms optional.
Karch has an extremely sloppy continuity error at this point -Hartley has just excused herself to go to work, yet O.T. (that's Othello to civilians) Lexington Steele brings his new pimp comrade Mr. Marcus upstairs to see Nina, and have sex with her, with condom.
Strange scene follows in a stark dungeon cell, where Dr. Go (MIke Horner, bad cop incarcerated at the end of Part 1) is cooling his heels and the rest of the body naked, when Hatcher visits him with a present: a tube of lube. Horner uses it to help masturbating, fantasizing that he's humping sexy Monique, a black prostitute from Part 1. Karch and cameraman Barry Wood get an interesting Venetian blinds lighting effect on their bodies as if caused by a barred window in the dungeon cell. Since the action is set in Venice (California) that's a nice tie-in.
O.T. returns, sees Marcus getting a Hartley blow job, and joins in for a threesome. This ends in a facial, with no d.p. occurring though the fans would expect one from anal specialist Nina.
Rafe portrays a blond spy on the premises and he gets it on for yet another interracial coupling, humping the beautiful Japanese actress Fujiko. She never removes her top, revealing in the helpful Behind the Scenes short subject that she just had a boob job and his giving them time to heal.
Film (shot on video) ends with Lex and Marcus poised to begin a "beautiful relationship" and Nina is also chipper about the future, but Lex was written out (for whatever reason, perhaps a schedule conflict) of Part 3.
IMDb lists Part 2 with a 2002 release date, but it bears a 2003 copyright.
