| stupidity thy name is the commander
Why would any actress agree to play a role where the lead character is so unremittingly stupid?

Even her expression is consistently witless. The character consistently acts in her own worst interest, fails to understand the minimum clues available.

I can only conclude that the writer is a misogynist who hates the idea of women in powerful positions.

The plots are contrived and rely on inconsistent character behavior in order to reach conclusions satisfying to the plot

Probably the worst British TV I have ever seen. And I love British cop shows.
