Pining for a current-gen racer in the mould of the classic Wipeout? Then Formula Fusion could be the game for you...
One of the early hits that established the PlayStation as a must-have console, Wipeout was the epitome of 90s cool. With its pounding music, sleek design and breathtakingly fast action, Psygnosis' futuristic racer briefly seemed like something from another planet.
Created by developer R8 Games, Formula Fusion has the same adrenaline buzzing through it, with its anti-gravity racers hurtling along twisty, trendy-looking tracks. While this is an entirely separate game from the Wipeout series, it does have certain elements in common: Cold Storage, who provided music for almost every Wipeout entry, will provide a new soundtrack. The Designers Republic, who were responsible for the Psygnosis games' trendy look, will offer similar duties on Formula Fusion.
The studio itself comprises some industry veterans who've worked on the likes of Grand Theft Auto,...

Dread Central has been airing webisodes of Ghost Trek, a faux reality show lampooning all of the ghost hunting shows on TV today (like a Grave Encounters comedy). They began on 10/8 and now have 3 webisodes up, with a fourth coming next Monday. We recently got our hands on the press release that describes the show and links you to a featurette, trailer and an interview with some cast members from the WWE.
If I’m watching it, it’s because it stars the little zombie girl from The Walking Dead, Addy Miller. I have the trailer below, and the press release is below for your perusal, with links to a sizzle reel, interview with the cast, and a featurette on Ghost Trek: The Kinsey Report. Enjoy!
Trailer:
Do you ever watch those ghost hunting shows and scratch your head, thinking to yourself, “These shows are so ridiculous. Why am I watching this?...

She was in the movies High Fidelity and American Pie 2, but right now actress Joelle Carter is best known for her role as Ava Crowder on FX's hit television show Justified.
The season finale of Justified is tomorrow night at 10pm on FX, but TV Fanatic spoke with Carter earlier today about her experiences on the show and her budding acting career. Excepts are below and we thank Joelle for her time.
TV Fanatic: How did you get the role of Ava Crowder and what was your reaction?
Carter: For me it was a bit of an unusual time frame in that I didn't find out I got the job until probably two months after I auditioned. After that, I had a month or two before shooting to digest the character which was nice.
TV Fanatic: Have your experiences growing up in Georgia help you play the role of Ava Crowder?...

With a tagline of "Some secrets are better locked away", it's not too much of a stretch to wonder if 2006's Cold Storage should have remained locked away itself. Nonetheless, thanks to Lionsgate, come May 4th, we'll be able to see for ourselves whether or not that's indeed the case.

Tony Elwood’s Cold Storage is a film that has been a long time in the making, written by Elwood in 1978, touched up in ’85, filmed a couple of years back and finally doing the festival circuit now, it’s very much his baby.
Kicking off with a break-up between young actress Melissa and her earnest, though simple, boyfriend Daric (Matt Keeslar), Melissa heads down South to take a part in a play. Unfortunately she hits a bird and is fatally injured in the process, attracting the attention of simple minded mountain man Clive (an astonishing turn by Nick Searcy). Clive sees that she’s still breathing and drives her back to his cabin, hoping to save her life, but she’s a goner and poor Clive just can’t seem to grasp this all important fact,...

B.D. Fox & Friends, a leading Hollywood entertainment advertising and marketing firm that is broadening its services to foreign sales, will launch its overseas operation at the Berlin Film Festival's European Film Market, said Brian Fox, the CEO and creative director of the 29-year-old agency. Indicating that the company, which recently entered the sales representation business, was in international sales for the long haul, Fox said that he and sales and acquisition head Kristina Kreska will be offering four completed films at Berlin. Films currently handled by the company are usually in the $1million-$10 million budget range, he noted. The films, to which Fox & Friends holds worldwide rights under its combined marketing-sales concept, include My Suicidal Sweetheart, a dysfunctional comedy from writer-director Michael Parness; Cold Storage, a thriller directed by Tony Elwood; Night Feeders, a sci-fi entry written and directed by Jet Eller; and Taylor, described as an unconventional love story produced, written and directed by Mark Roemmich.
