Most people get pretty excited by all the new games with their nearly realistic looking characters. It's more like you're playing a live action movie rather than a video game.

Though the realistic looking games certainly look awesome, with the complete explosion of these games and computer generated films, it's nice to see a game that returns to the classic style of traditional animation.

"Neopets" looks more like the games we used to play, but still uses all the technology available to make a three dimensional world and good game play. But what it has above the other games is a completely different look.

The character design is one of the most enjoyable features of the game. The traditional style animation look uses exaggerated features that always seem to come across as far more alive than the most realistic looking games.

Game play is simply more fun as you move through this animated land with it's animated characters.

Add in the stellar voice cast (Claudia Black and Adrienne Wilkinson - you can't go wrong!) and "Neopets" is a nice break from the same ol', same ol'.
