| It starts at the climax and ends at a climax as well oddly enough. very thought provoking.
I viewed this film at the 5th Nickel Film festival in St john's Newfoundland last week. I sat through several films on that particular day some were good, some not so good, however this film stood out among it's counterparts on this day. With a short film that actually contains a good plot and a clever ending, it's hard to comment on everything that i'd like to without giving away too much. However it should be noted that Downward Calling is one of those films that just grabs you from the very beginning and never lets you go. true it is a short, but while the ride may not be long, it is a well crafted well timed journey complete with everything a solid indie film should have. great acting, Fantastic musical pieces and very inspired and appealing shots- if you see Downward Calling playing at a festival near you, be sure to check it out. It really is worth the 10 minutes of you time to enjoy this wonderful short film.
