Powerful, yet lyrical movie about pain and healing... Ms. Abbott is amazing, and Jacques Zanetti expresses more with his visual prose than a thousand words!

I premiered this film on the West Coast at the International Black Women's Film Festival in San Francisco, California, and festival goers are still commenting on the impact of this film. Some audience members said they identified strongly with the protagonist and were swept up in the storyline before they knew it!

Drena DeNiro brings a calm, cool edge to the film, against the simmering angst of her mother's character. Wonderful casting. It can be a bit long for some viewers, but if you stick with it, you'll be greatly rewarded at the end...!
