Sent in by the BSAA, Chris Redfield has a new mission. It takes him into South Africa where he encounters a new horror and relives an old past.
Technically, when it came out, this was Resident Evil 7, because when Resident Evil Zero (2002) chronologically became the first one in the series, this made Resident Evil: Code: Veronica (2000) the fifth and Resident Evil 4 (2005) the sixth. With the later release of Resident Evil: Revelations (2012) (which takes place between Resident Evil 4 and 5), this game technically became Resident Evil 8.
Maybe you should consider a career change.
Chris and Sheva were never given the orders to retreat, what actually happen is that they decided to flee but changed there mind once Chris decided to locate Jill. Yet, all the characters act as if they got those orders to do it. This means that either Capcom overlooked this mistake or cut out a section of the game that explains this.
