Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Michael Peña was actually stumbling over his words during the "telephone game" sequence.
Howard Stark: He doesn't seem happy. Hello, Hank. You're supposed to be in Moscow.
Hank Pym: I took a detour... Through your defense lab.
Peggy Carter: Tell me that isn't what I think it is.
Hank Pym: That depends if you think it's a poor attempt to replicate my work. Even for this group, that...
(at around 58 mins) The Wasp is shown flying onto an ICBM in mid-flight. Considering that the speed of "average" intercontinental ballistic missile needs to be at least 7km per second, it would have been physically impossible for her to fly fast enough to catch up to the missile in flight. Additionally, a portion of the missile's flight takes it into low Earth orbit. This is the "ballistic portion" of the flight and it would have exposed both Ant Man (Hank Pym) and The Wasp to far lower air pressure than would be possible to keep themselves breathing or not to experience body temperature issues as their suits were not explicitly described as pressurized. But other events in the movie suggest the suits might include breathing or re-breathing apparatus.
SPOILER: There is a scene at the end of the closing credits: Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson have Bucky Barnes in their custody, and debate on what to do. This leads into Captain America: Civil War (2016).
