Overall the movie was OK, I'd like to see more

The beginning was slow and boring but the end scenes were great. I really loved the ending. It was sad not to see Jimmy stay in the entire show. The movie had lots of action. The person who was the fight choreographer did an excellent job. I liked the fight scenes much, much better than all of the other shows because this time they finally got their asses whipped and good. Usually Walker and his team usually fight their way out without the use of weapons. But this time, they all had to rely on bullets to put their opponents down for good. The ending left an opening for the series to come back. It would be okay for the series to come, taking into consideration everyone's age. Start the series again, I'm getting tired of all these reality shows.

Chuck Norris is his usual bad ass self.

Walker, Texas Ranger ran for 203 episodes, from 1993 until 2001. Revolving around a tough Texas Ranger (Norris) who fights tireless to uphold the law and maintain the moral balance.

Chuck Norris is his usual bad ass self. He isn't as ruthless as usual, mostly because of his Captain job and his family life with Alex (they're married and have a daughter, Angela, played by Danilee Kelly Norris), but he's still Chuck Norris and he can still kick ass. Sheree J. Wilson isn't in the movie as much as you'd expect her to be. She has an easy back and forth with Norris and it's obvious that they're comfortable with one another.

Clarence Gilyard, who played Walker's partner James Trivette during the show's entire run, appears for a cameo only.I believe Gilyard's cameo is just a cameo because he had other commitments he couldn't get out of when the movie was made.

I'll skip everything else, you'll just have to watch it. Now, the ending. I don't want to give away any major spoilers here, but the movie ends on a major cliffhanger that, at least at the moment, has no chance of ever being resolved. It was probably thrilling when the movie originally aired, but after all these years it's just annoying. Why the hell didn't CBS do a sequel? Why leave the show's fans in limbo over what happened? Wouldn't a sequel pay for itself after rerun airings and DVD sales? I'm pretty sure Chuck Norris and Walker, Texas Ranger fans would want a sequel.

I have some issues with this, but Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire is a pretty good decent TV movie. Chuck Norris kicks ass in it, and it's just generally entertaining. It's just too bad that it didn't get a sequel and we still don't know what happened at the end. We need resolution, man. Maybe CBS will come to its senses, and give the world a real ending to the Walker, Texas Ranger story.

Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire watch it as soon as you can. Rating: 8.0/10.0

Love the show except for the end

This has a two great story lines and the only thing I can object to is the Koreans' stunts. They seemed UNREAL. Looks like this is either the total end of the shows or perhaps an attempt at a comeback. I sure hope it's the comeback because 1) you can't us wondering and 2) the story isn't done yet please! Walker is the same great man we've always known. I missed Tirvette, Alex is wonderful as usual and the Walker's little daughter is adorable. The boy whose father was murdered was an excellent character and he was certainly brave. The young boys were both good, believable actors. I just couldn't believe the Koreans. They were totally evil and their energy was unreal. They were impossible to contain. The one person I missed the most was CJ. He played such a part in the story. I did enjoy the show. It had all the old elements and the light touch of forensics was delightful. I like the fact that its story line wasn't just like all the other forensic shows. Walker, we really miss you.

    walker fan

I think CBS should make a new Walker Texas Ranger movie and replay part one. I have not even seen the movie but I've seen clips of it on Google. I think Cindy and Gage were getting along pretty good. Trevette and Erika were to get married on the final showdown. What will happen? I heard that Alex got shot and I heard that Trevette was only on it for about 5 minutes. I hope Alex doesn't die. And I hope Trevette is in it more. I hope very soon they will rerun Trial by Fire so I can watch it. Also I heard Nia Peeples was not in the movie. I think it was sad she was not in the reunion. I think her character was very good in the shows on TV. Was it the same music being played like in the other shows? How many people did he fight in this movie? Does he still have his silver truck?

    Trial by Fire

I enjoyed the Walker series the entire time it ran. I liked the movie as well, except the for the ending. Has anyone heard if there will be another movie? I hope so and I hope this time Clarence Gilyard doesn't have any conflicts so "Jimmy" can have a larger part.

I agree that it would be great to see Nia Peeples back to see what has developed between her character and Judson Mills' character.

My thought is that Alex doesn't survive this time and Walker becomes a single parent. Maybe this is how they bring closure to the series. Not a great way to end things, but all good things do have to end some time.

I was wondering if "The President's Man" movie was the pilot for another series and just didn't fly with execs; does anyone have an answer to this. If so, I'd appreciate knowing.

    Bring us more Walker!

After fighting the Asians for the first time, Walker briefs his subordinate Rangers that the criminals are Korean. There's no way he could know that for sure, and it's also questionable whether his subordinates will be able to tell the difference between a (North or South) Korean and an Asian of another nationality, or even ethnicity.
