    I can't vote on this since I was the director on the first 180 episodes... But I have to correct Louis on the design of Sébastien Tobin. It's based on a "peanut shape" head that François likes to portrait himself. The fact that we added glasses to the character is to make him more "intellectual". Turned out that it did look like Mr. Bruneau, which he didn't like... so that why he never announced "Le JourNul" at the end of the newscast, unlike Mr Simon Durivage who did! Two characters though were based on living newscasters: Jean-Paul Chartrand Jr as Oscar Aubut and Normand Lester as Tristan Direct. Originally, "Le JourNul" was supposed to be broadcast on Radio-Canada's Téléjournal with Stéphan Bureau.
