This video presented by Peter Alsop and his chorus of children (who's parents probably still regret having signed the Parent/Guardian release form) pose some uncomfortable questions stemming from the eponymous, "Where Will I Go When I'm Dead and Gone?" It's crazy to think they probably came up with these questions while hanging out at a tech rehearsal for their community theater production of Annie but isn't that really where most kids do their deepest thinking about death? However, the questions raised by the children actually raise a number of questions themselves. Namely, What? We thought we'd take a moment to answer these questions. If my body's down in a hole...

Vine is to YouTube what flash fiction is to the short story, and the increasingly popular little video app is gaining a lotta traction in the movie biz right about now because, well, there's a ton of hilarity potential.
Sure, one could make a series of hoity-toity Tribeca Film Festival-worthy six-second shorts with the program, too (yawn), but who wouldn't rather see things like rap song/ Disney movie mashups and random celebrity impersonation samples and brief homemade movie reboots?
What makes Vine a legit thing right now is that it's giving people the giggles with the zen-iest bare bones of visuals, and like McD's we're totally lovin' it.
So we won't even pretend that the process of ferreting out the nine most Lol-able flick-centric Vines so far was in any way painstaking. 'Cause it wasn't. We pretty much just giggled maniacally for hours. Enjoy!

For Indie Horror Month 2013, we recently caught up with Ackerman to hear more about his latest short film as well as more on his plans to develop Hell's Belles into a feature film project and more. Check out all the highlights from our interview below!

Harry Shannon has worn several hats in various fields of entertainment. He's been a music executive, working on films such as Terminator 2 and Basic Instinct; he works as an actor and screenwriter; and he is also an award-winning writer of novels and short stories. He took some time to talk to FEARnet about writing; filmmaking; music and The Hungry 3, the soon-to-be-released third novel in the popular Sheriff Penny Miller series.
You have a new book coming out, The Hungry 3. It's the third in the zombie novel series. What happens in this one?

I've become so enamored of all of the participating "Best Shot" writers that I miss people when they don't show up and stalk their blogs. Peter Swanson of Armchair Audience recently joined the informal "best shot" group and when I noticed no Singin' in the Rain post last Wednesday, I started clicking around his blog only to discover he's a published poet, and a fine witty one, too. He often writes about the movies and is currently completing work on a sonnet sequence about all 53 Alfred Hitchcock movies. 53 !!!
With his permission I'm sharing his 2007 poem inspired by Oscar winner David Niven which was originally originally published in The Vocabula Review.

Oh boy, it’s a little early in the day for the ol’ existential crisis to be acting up, but that’s what happens when you hear an expressionless red-headed child intone the words “If my body’s turned into smoke and burned/Will I make a tear in your eye?” Peter Alsop‘s song “Where Will I Go When I’m Dead and Gone?” seems born of a genuine desire to address kids’ questions about death in a light-hearted way, but it doesn’t change the fact that no one knows! Can’t kids get out of elementary school before they are confronted with the incomprehensibly knowledge of their own mortality? Oh, and suggesting that corpses should be propped up at a kitchen table or hung in the sun on the patio? So unnecessary. “You could dance to my rattling bones,” Alsop suggests. I’m good, Pete, but thanks for all the nightmares!

Many might be mistaken for thinking El Camino is the second album by The Black Keys, the follow up to the massive Brothers, but mistaken they would be; that was no debut and this is no sophomore effort. Despite what the seemingly sudden explosion of lead single Tighten Up and that album might’ve conveyed, this was no overnight success. This duo now in their tenth year had been slow burning their fuse to the top for that explosion last year, with growing critical acclaim, fan base and media usage of the tracks, they’d put in the hours.
Coming little over a year since that seismic release, the band are clearly looking to keep that bang up in the air, and not let the dust settle. To strike while the iron’s explosive. Other hyperbole. Though The Black Keys, or Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney,...

He's bringing music back! Though he's been primarily focused on acting lately, Justin Timberlake apparently felt the need to remind fans that singing is his first passion, playing his second free show in 24 hours at New York City's Irving Plaza Thursday night. Timberlake was there to support FreeSol, whose album is out on his Tennman Records label, and who played a full set before his performance. "For the record, I'm not trying to be a serious actor," the Friends With Benefits star joked at one point in the night, before singing a bar of his Saturday Night Live Emmy-winning "D--- in a Box.

“The idea came to me a few years ago when I began writing a feature horror/comedy around a young female who drives a hearse,” writer, producer, and director Chris Ackerman told Dread last Saturday night on the set of his then-shooting short film Hell’s Belles. “The main character, ‘Adria Blackmoor’, lives a sheltered life as a morgue technician at her grandfather’s cemetery when unfortunately the gates of hell open, and she’s forced to battle a strange assortment of creatures to save her town.”
Hollywood being Hollywood, however, burgeoning filmmakers are keenly aware of the distinct lack of imagination most suits have during the pitching process (a manuscript seldom cuts it any longer in communicating one’s vision), so Ackerman, who previously served as an associate producer on Yossi Sasson’s 2008 horror feature Dead and Gone, took it upon himself to helm a shortened version of his script,...

"Fall for Your Type", Jamie Foxx's joint track with Drake, has got a music video treatment. Debuted on Bet, the video is directed by Chris Robinson and follows the Academy Award-winning actor going through the ups and downs in his relationship. Drizzy makes a cameo in this clip.
The song is taken from Foxx's fourth studio album "Best Night of My Life" which is set to arrive in the United States on December 21. Beside Drake, he also lines up Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, T.I., Justin Timberlake, Rico Love, Ludacris, Soulja Boy and Gucci Mane.

Justin Timberlake might have no album in the works, but it doesn't mean he can't make a duet with one of this year's hottest rappers Drake. In a recent interview with Fuse's Voodoo 2010, the rapper confirmed the collaboration, saying they "will probably have a song soon."
"One thing that's in the works, this is exclusive, this is a moment... One thing that I haven't mentioned to anybody yet, but will, right now. I've always wanted to work with him and it's in the works right now," Drizzy said as quoted by RapRadar.
While he remains secretive about details of the duet, the Canadian Mc did say he's "really excited." The 24-year-old rapper explained, "Cause I've wanted to work with Justin for a long time. And we've recently talked about it and I think we're going to make it happen."
Both Drake and Justin are no strangers in guest-starring appearances with other artists.

Hollywood has repeatedly peddled the apocalyptic threat from aliens, machines, comets, viruses and zombies, but who was watching the vampires?
Never exactly absent from the entertainment scene, those eternal bloodsuckers lately have infiltrated everything from big screens and little screens to bookstore shelves, clothing racks, download services, video games and video, record and jewelry stores.
Just this week, the Fox/New Regency "Twilight" parody "Vampires Suck" grossed $20 million, and 5 million regular viewers are rabidly following HBO's newest hit, "True Blood," as it swoops toward its season 3 finale Sept. 12. Meanwhile, Justin Cronin's "The Passage," Stephenie Meyer's "Breaking Dawn" and Charlaine Harris' "Dead and Gone" hover on best-seller lists.

Today posted an exclusive interview with Yossi Sasson, director of Dead And Gone, which is now available on DVD from Lionsgate. Actor Jack Wade takes his sick wife Frankie, a former Hollywood studio executive, to an isolated cabin in the mountains-a place where a man once murdered his entire family. Poor Jack was a kept man. Now he must care for Frankie alone, because they have run out of money. This dilapidated cabin is all they have left. The redneck father and son that live nearby are pretty eccentric, but seem harmless enough. Jack flirts with Kate Eidson, the local constable, a woman who has such bad memories of the war in Iraq she won't even carry a gun. Jack is a fish out of water. Everything in nature scares him. He starts to imagine things and comes to believe Frankie is up and moving around...
