Intensity and naturalness
A story of the fur country, by J. Herbert Chestnut, directed by Theodore Marston. George Cooper, James Morrison, John Costello and Dorothy Kelly by their splendid acting make this an unusual offering. The forest fire scene is beautifully photographed. In the end there is a most gratifying surprise, which redeems an otherwise repulsive character in the preceding scenes. Intensity and naturalness are a pleasing feature of the picture. - The Moving Picture World, October 17, 1914
