...you will thoroughly enjoy this film. Reminiscent of Christopher Guest films (Best in Show, Spinal Tap, etc.), this movie was a pleasant surprise. Had never heard of it until it showed up as a "viewers also watched" list and I was instantly reminded of one of my all-time favorite comedies, Drop Dead Gorgeous. Hilarious performances, great story and some truly awful looking food (somebody had to make all of those weird dishes in the opening sequence).
It is just a silly relaxing movie to pass time with
I think it got released after Melissa McCarthy got famous...she is just a guest star and shouldn't be the main star on the poster
I'm going to admit right away that this movie will seem not funny to some. If you like the dry awkward humor of movies like napoleon dynamite or drop dead gorgeous you'll like this.
My favorite was niecy nash as "ladybug" and wendi mclendon-covey as "pauline".
One thing i really didn't like is you could definitely tell they used ALL of the footage they had of melissa McCarthy because she had gotten famous. Her part was stupid and it went on for way too long. (i guess on the bright side people who don't understand why things are edited, "dropped on the cutting room floor", or doesn't make it into the movie this'll perfectly illustrate why.)
overall the movie got more laughs out of me than other comedies that have same kind of star power.
Its cute, its funny and it has its own charm.
Enjoy!

I really liked it, Melissa McCarthy was actually the weakest link. It was fun and silly. I thought a couple of the jokes were a bit racist, but the characters are all funny--the cast is incredible.
4/10 - disappointing mockumentary that wasted its stars' (two of my faves: Melissa and Niecy) potential
