A lot of talent is put though their paces by Jonathan Morgan in this good-natured sequel to "Valley 911", cop comedy more flat-footed than humorous. The balancing act of sex and comedy is heavily weighted to XXX here.
Best example is a scene that cracks up (evidence in the BTS short subject on the DVD) the cast if not the viewer: uncredited Wicked superstar Brad Armstrong shows up as a driver accused by cop Julia Ann of DUI, and ordered to imitate her little stripper dance, which he dutifully turns into a sort of clothed Chippendales routine atop the hood of his car. My reaction: Brad is a good sport.
Premise as per the title is that a pair of cops from Internal Affairs descends on the precinct house to investigate the sergeant (Steven St. Croix, not as funny as he was in classic '90s comedies paired with Morgan) and his squad for all manner of corrupt practices. A nearly unrecognizable Alana Evans is assigned by IA partner Michael Raven to do ride alongs with each of the cops and observe them in action.
An intriguing footnote is that Evans was the spokeswoman for Stormy Daniels recently when the Trump scandal involving a late-in-the-2016-campaign pay off of hush money to the Wicked superstar, and here she is in the supporting cast of a Stormy/Julia Ann vehicle.
Julia Ann is favored of the twosome, as Stormy has relatively little to do in the movie apart from the requisite humping. Opening credits are sloppy as usual with major male leads Tommy Gunn and Chris Cannon not listed. Other femmes in the cast make a notable impression, coming off sexier than the leads: Venus strong in a threesome with Gunn and real-life cop Steve Crest (billed under his more familiar nom de porn Jack Lawrence); and Kelli Tyler as a sexy redhead servicing Cannon in an alley. Newcomer at the time Brooke Haven upstages her fellow blonde bombshells, potent in a foursome with Lee Stone, Stormy and St. Croix.
Of course this nonsense is inspired by Comedy Central's hit series "Reno 911", which was often imitated by pornographers for obvious reasons.
