I see the bad reviews on here of this movie and want to highlight its good aspects because it is not a horrible movie. I will admit that my rating is skewed a little because I caught it on Amazon Prime recently, which doesn't have much of a selection and is full of junk. This movie is far from junk. I do feel that it falls into the trap of not catering to a wide audience. As someone who has been in several bands and once had a dream similar to that of the main character, I found myself attracted to the movie. While the plot is pretty far fetched, it is relate-able to anyone who has ever been in a garage band. If you don't take this movie seriously and are looking for an odd movie to be better than average background noise, you could do a lot worse than this movie. I probably won't watch it again but it will definitely come up in conversation and be recommended to my friends because it was a little too real.
