| Louie the Ring Is Dead and Buried in Kensal Green Cemetery
The second series certainly has Budgie to be even more self centred and less lovable. He is also more prone to hitting the women in his life.

I guess in the early 1970s viewers might not have noticed this darker tinged Budgie or took much notice him threatening to hit a woman.

Budgie runs into Hazell and soon worms his way back into his life. Budgie even finds out the name of his baby who is now two years old.

With Charlie Endell been bequeathed some dodgy diamond rings by the late Louise the Ring.

It does not take long for Charlie to rope in Budgie to carry out Louie the Ring's con. It just that once again Budgie is short on patter and luck.

Budgie never learns that you will always end up being a loser with Charlie.

I wonder why Hazell thought Budgie had changed?
