  • Warning: Spoilers
It is time for the basketball game with Gary's bar. And this year Sam has a great plan to get a professional Kevin McHale to win. There is a bet of $5000 and Kevin agrees to play only if the money goes to the orphans. Cheers agrees, but then at the end Gary tricks them, gets their donation and gives it to the orphans in his name.

The whole basketball story was pretty boring. We saw a lot of those bar wars already. And the basketball player was just annoying me with his stupidity and entitlement.

Frasier and Lilith are the one good part of the episode, especially their conversation when Lilith says that she does it to his mind.

Kevin McHale makes an appearance as Gary strikes again. There is an element of fairness that is ignored. Gary brings in a couple really tall ringers and Sam must resort to bringing in Kevin. But, as is usually the case, Gary's evil actions come into play. This is disheartening but it doesn't matter because the writing in this thing leaves much to be desired.
