The arms dealer is asked for "Mossberg 870" shotguns. In fact, Mossberg has never made a model number "870" as all of their models are in the 500s. Remington Arms makes a Model 870 which is likely what the writers meant, but weren't able to use for some reason.
The eponymous "Baseballs of Death" (aka cluster bomblets) are not shown to be sold inside the cluster munitions where they would be used. Cluster bomblets can only be employed in artillery shells or air-dropped bombs. The episode constantly seems to imply that they can be used or deployed as grenades, which is not the case.
When Guerrero drives off after acquiring the cluster bombs from Stiles, the headlights of his Maserati are reflected in the camera lens.
Shaney (the blackmailer) is shown taking photos from a motel window which is shown being bathed by the lights of a blinking neon sign. However, when the photo s are shown being taken there's no neon flash shown in the camera's field of vision as there should be.
There is an obvious edit when Crockett attempts to catch the sea plane with his speed boat. What was meant to appear as a single action sequence reveals that the plane and boat were filmed at different times and spliced together.
In the beginning of this episode Guerreros henchman fires a weapon with suppressor attached but pretty normal gunshot sound is heard, a few moments later Guerrero shoots the girl with same gun and suppressed sound is heard.
