600 years ago, a ball of fire came down in NW America, witnessed by a tribe of natives. Was it a UFO or just a meteor? Today, Sydney is approached by Bobby Green (Tom Jackson), a man who found a surprisingly modern symbol which was etched in stone back then. Sydney postpones a trip to Egypt and starts searching for the hidden cult place of the tribe where the 'Fire in the Sky' landed. Chief Dark Feather (Lorne Cardinal), a tall man with an impressive scar from a bear attack, previously chased a geologist away who was looking for the same place („You probably know how our ancestors dealt with intruders on their land - and traditions never die"). Government agents also seem to have something to hide and arrest Mr Green for an unpleasant interrogation. Sydney discovers a silvery metal plate which may be an important clue...

Good action episode, even if conspiracy theories about UFOs are not exactly new.

The best episode of the show I've seen yet. Whether one believes in UFO's and little green men or not is irrelevant. The Indians are well and believably depicted without either stereotypes or political correctness. The "men in black" (NIA) are creepy and frightening as they ought to be. No token villains who were easily disposed of. In fact they won out in the end as would be inevitable for such an organization dealing with a mere Professor and a businessman. It certainly makes one think and is more than a little reminiscent of the classic TV of the golden age (80's and earlier) with its distrust of authority and belief in ideals (both Sidney and the Indian businessman are idealists, each in their own way).
