A friend of Sydney, Eric from Brussels (Jonathan Firth), believes that his girlfriend Suzanne became a vampire. After some research work, Sydney and Nigel take it seriously (to a degree) and fly to Belgium. At a lonely castle, they become witnesses of a strange initiation ceremony. An empty coffin is prepared for Eric. The vampires offer Sydney a drink from a chalice to drug her, while Nigel is the helpless victim of a beautiful seductress who tries to turn him into an artist (yes, that's as weird as it reads).
Jane March and Zeta Graff as the vampire ladies deliver great performances. I liked the visuals, there are many emotional close-ups and gentle sepia tones, not the usual horror movie blackness which would not have been suitable for 'Relic Hunter', anyway.
