My roommate got a call from some market research company and they had him watch this show on an odd cable channel (one reserved for this type of thing, I assume) and then called him to ask him what he thought. I was home, so I watched it, too.

It started off slow and kind of weird but as they show progressed, it became more and more interesting and by the end, I was hooked. I wish they had asked me my opinions because I really liked it. My roommate, however, is not into shows of this nature. He doesn't like his brain to be taxed by plot twists and suspense. Conversely, I thrive on that.

I really hope this show gets picked up for the season, because it looks really promising. I won't give away details, but let's just say that if you like suspense, you'll like this.
  • saw the pilot, and it was bad. basic premise: sort of Manchurian candidate for the average Joe. but done badly.

the pilot opens and we learn David blacks out for 60 minutes repeatedly, but doesn't start to worry until he wakes up with a shovel in his hand and a dead body in front of him. then, he's confused and scared. the acting is terrible, camera work is incredibly basic, and the writing sounds like it's for a USA movie of the week. what's worse, there are so many plot holes and questions marks (no traffic in downtown Washington D.C., ability to throw a dead body over a bridge in D.C. without anyone seeing, your best buddy also being in charge of your brainwashing program, etc.)that it makes you feel like elementary school students wrote it. save your time and watch something else.
