I wish I made this film

I'm shocked by seeing the average rating of this film be only a 6.2. Of course, IMDb does skew the results. They'll throw away some 10s because they believe people are trying to give it an artificially high rating but they they'll keep all the 1s (when should be obvious that people are trying to give it an artificially low rating -- how does that make the rating fairer?).

I hate when people use the word "brilliant" for something that is just very good. But this film deserves to be called brilliant. I loved the story, the actors and the cinematography. This film made me feel like I was curled up in bed on a cold winter day with cookies and hot chocolate, enjoying a beautiful escape.

Being a filmmaker, myself, I've seen many, many short films. This one I just can't forget. No film can be everyone's cup of tea but to me, most people who didn't like this film must either like depressing, gritty or violent films or they're just jealous that they couldn't make a film like this.

Heck I wish I could make a film like this but I'm not going to hold my envy against the filmmaker.

    I'm giving it a 10.

After a tragic accident with a Christmas tree Andrew's life changes for the worse until he discovers the bread aisle of the local grocery store.

This is a wonderful short film that is both an entertaining and beautifully crafted. I first viewed this film at the Ann Arbor film festival and was immediately drawn to it. The story is very charming and has the feel of a modern day fairy tale. The filmmakers did a wonderful job with every aspect involved in this film, from the beautiful art direction and cinematography to the charming script. The actors used in this film were wonderful and played their roles perfectly. I really enjoyed this film and can't wait to see more from these filmmakers. This is a wonderful film for all ages that I would suggest to everyone and anyone who ever loved stories.
