This is an episode that I especially love because to me it's the first time that all of the show's best elements come together perfectly and the wit and action really shines like never before. There's just one great line after another and all of them are wonderfully spot-on. It's constantly moving too, I actually wanna be a part of that nutso game! It wastes no time at all in getting to the game action, in fact more than any other so far, I'd say this episode revolves entirely around the game, "A Dungeon Deep", which is one of the best and most crazy in the series. It's like a cross between a role playing game and Dungeons and Dragons naturally! I love the font that pops up about twenty times of two ironclad fists bashing into each other! And I also like the unexpected switching up of the game roles, with Bob being stuck as a useless scuzzy thief and not getting the warrior position that he's best suited to, which instead goes to the bumbling Mike the TV, the lovable motormouthed sprite who looks just like a walking TV, and who really works fantastically in this as the comic foil! I like how it addresses why they can't just use each other's weapons. Enzo has goofy clown arrows because having regular ones might have warped the delicate children's minds(!) Overzealous censorship can ruin movies and television shows and the makers of Reboot got real lucky that they were eventually able to escape the cloying censors of the BSNP! This is such a fun blast to watch, terrific music, hilarious screwing up of magical abilities, to me it all works tremendously well. The best funny bit for me is when Mike repels the evil mirror versions(Zelda!) of Dot and Bob with plain old bad TV! I love it, the first truly great episode and one of my all-time favourites. Bye now!
