"The Fugitive" ran for four seasons on ABC from 1963 to 1967. The series followed Dr. Richard Kimble (David Janssen), a (you guessed it) fugitive accused of murdering his wife. Pursued across the country by lawman Philip Gerard (Barry Morse), he tries to prove his innocence by finding the real killer.
On one hand, "The Fugitive" is as episodic as you'd expect from a 1960s TV show. Each episode features Kimble in a different town with a new problem to solve. The backstory is also told via title sequence; the first episode, "Fear in a Desert City," is just another adventure for Kimble, not the murder, trial, and Kimble's escape the way it would be today. However, there's also some serialization with the story threads of Gerard hunting Kimble and Kimble hunting the real murderer, a one-armed man (Bill Raisch). These reach their conclusion in the finale, "The Judgment."
With such a simple and exciting premise,...

Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson is slated to take on a new mantle, in an even bigger capacity, in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World. Starring as the new Captain America of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mackie looks good as always with the Vibranium shield and a new suit.

Canadian actor-brothers Shamier Anderson (John Wick 4) and Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk) had their stars unveiled on Scarborough’s Walk of Fame. The men were raised in the marginalized Toronto community by a single mother who emigrated to Canada from Jamaica.
“It’s really humbling and flattering to receive something like this in my hometown, at a mall where I grew up, where I shopped, it’s pretty cool,” Anderson told The Hollywood Reporter.
The local Walk of Fame honor for the fast-rising Hollywood stars is more than an exercise in collective positive thinking for an inner-city neighborhood that earlier brought to the world celebrities like Mike Myers, Jim Carrey and The Weeknd.
The brothers are at work via their Bay Mills Studios production banner — named after the community housing project they grew up in Scarborough — on a landmark TV drama set in the inner-city community that is their home away from Hollywood.

Back in 2008 the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially began with Iron Man. The film starred an actor who, at the time, was going through uncertain times in his career. In fact he was paid only $500,000 for his role in the film while his co-star Terrance Howard was paid $4.5 million for his role due to recently being nominated for an academy award.
After the film’s positive reception upon its release, Marvel started making other films like The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America, leading up to the first Avengers film in 2012. In just four short years, Downy Jr.’s career turned around, and he became a household name.
The actor would continue to portray the super genius hero in a third solo Iron Man film and appear as a secondary character in both Captain America and Spider-Man movies as well as three more Avengers films. His last official...

The Incredible Hulk remains the black sheep of the Marvel Cinematic Universe despite being one of the earliest installments in the multi-billion dollar franchise. The film marks Edward Norton’s only appearance as Bruce Banner / Hulk from the Marvel Studios. However, the film also introduced the late William Hurt’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross who became a major supporting player in the MCU.

During an interview, the film’s director Louis Leterrier spoke about the tumultuous production process, which was only hampered by his constant arguments with Hurt. Leterrier revealed that he once had to resort to slight violence to assert his dominance over Hurt. Here is what Leterrier revealed about not getting along with Hurt on The Incredible Hulk.

Louis Leterrier's "The Incredible Hulk" was released in August of 2008, a year before Disney made their notorious $4 billion purchase of Marvel Entertainment. Once the Disney purchase was finalized, the company announced its plan to build out the then-new Marvel Cinematic Universe, which was novel at the time. Disney also retconned Paramount's "Iron Man," and Leterrier's movie (made for Universal) into the MCU, using a foundation that had already been built. The announcement of a whole string of interconnected superhero movies set the pop world on fire, and the ensuing decade would be crushed -- both positively and negatively -- by Marvel.
"The Incredible Hulk" was sort of the red-headed stepchild of those early films. It starred Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, and Norton, as with any of his films, attempted to assert creative control over the project. The tone of "Incredible" is steelier and more machine-like than the...

Any fan of Marvel Comics will be able to tell you that death is, at worst, a temporary inconvenience. No Marvel superhero stays dead for too long, resurrected by cloning technology, psychic projections, visits from parallel universes, or mere unexpected survival. Marvel Comics are identical to soap operas, in that the writers have to contrive increasingly wild ways to keep their characters' stories going, even if they die.
When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that same rule seems to apply. There have indeed been a few notable deaths throughout the 16-year-old, 30-odd-film series, but many of them have been magically undone. In "Avengers: Endgame," the same wish-granting widget that wiped out half of the universe's population was employed to resurrect them. After a stunt like that mortality becomes something of a joke. Only a few deaths have felt properly permanent (at least so far) in the annals of the MCU,...

Although recent years have witnessed fewer performances from Edward Norton, it is safe to say that fans do miss him. Norton has a reputation for being particularly intense on film sets, however, when he does, people are sure something great is going to come out on the other side. American History X was one such movie! His co-star in the movie, Edward Furlong, recently revealed what it was like working with such an actor.

However, this recent release from Marvel Studios Animation has also got comic-book buffs wondering if they could soon get a long-awaited Spider-Man animated show.

It began with 2008’s “Iron Man,” a film that introduced the world to Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark with the hint that he could be part of something greater. Thirty-two films later, the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still being told, albeit with various tributaries and detours that introduce new characters and new worlds that may or may not cross paths one day. Each film in the MCU stands on its own to some degree, but like building blocks, they all connect as part of one interconnected universe. And in that way, watching the Marvel movies in order tells one grand story.

Every year brings fresh rumors about the development of a ‘World War Hulk’ movie. These rumors have persisted for years without any sign of resolution.
Over a year ago, there was a report suggesting that Marvel Studios was working on a new Hulk solo movie, with Mark Ruffalo slated to star. The movie was said to be titled ‘World War Hulk’ and loosely based on the comic book storyline of the same name. However, since Marvel Studios never officially confirmed this, the report was not taken seriously. This is because of complex intellectual property and distribution rights involving both Marvel Studios and Universal. Marvel allowed Universal Pictures to produce a Hulk movie in 2003, but Universal couldn’t produce a sequel,...

Anthony Mackie has been a stalwart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since debuting as Sam Wilson/Falcon in 2014’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” The actor’s superhero tenure has included “Avengers” movies and the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Now, Mackie is taking on the mantle of Captain America in the upcoming theatrical tentpole “Captain America: Brave New World.”
While promoting his latest series “Twisted Metal” in the United Kingdom, Mackie compared the project to his experience making Marvel movies and told Radio Times there was a lot more storytelling freedom to be had outside of the MCU.
“I would say the Marvel thing is completely different, just because it’s such a space of controlled entertainment. Like, there’s only so much you can do,” Mackie observed. “There’s only so much creativity you can bring to the table, because Stan Lee gave us so much content.

Ernie Hudson, the 78-year-old actor who has appeared in all five of the “Ghostbusters” movies and several “Ghostbusters” video games, spoke with The Independent about the franchise in the lead-up to “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.”
The role of Winston Zeddmore was originally offered to Eddie Murphy, and when that didn’t happen, his character’s screen time was greatly reduced. As such, Hudson’s pay was much smaller than that of the other three Ghostbusters, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis (the latter two also wrote the script). He also did not appear on any of the posters.

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk had one of the most stagnant character arcs in the MCU, despite the hero being a crucial part of the Avengers team. While behind-the-scenes issues played a major part in the MCU’s failure to explore this character, even solving those issues may no longer help Hulk’s story. The universe has already introduced another superhero dealing with multiple personality disorder — Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight — which undermines the Hulk’s defining characteristic from the comics.

Marvel’s The Hulk happens to be one of the most crucial and significant characters within the franchise and over the years, the character has played a major role in the narration of the story. "All great literature is one of two stories; a man goes on a journey or a stranger comes to town." -- Leo Tolstoy
Two of today's hottest shows -- Tracker and Reacher -- are keeping the tradition of the "traveling stranger" alive and well by providing comfort viewing with a kick.
There has always been room on television for the archetype of the helpful loner traveling from town to town.

Two of today's hottest shows -- Tracker and Reacher -- are keeping the tradition of the "traveling stranger" alive and well by providing comfort viewing with a kick.
There has always been room on television for the archetype of the helpful loner traveling from town to town.

The production of the next Captain America film, Captain America: Brave New World, is in full swing and fans just can’t wait for the film. As the film is quite crucial for the franchise, many theories regarding the film have been circulating on social media, particularly about Red Hulk. Several social media outlets have also covered interesting rumors about the film’s storyline.
Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World (2025)
One of these rumors claims that the Red Hulk can emit fire from his body which is hot enough to melt Vibranium. This has left the fans wild as this ability is new and it may completely change the MCU. Throughout the MCU, we got glimpses of Thaddeus Ross, portrayed by late actor William Hurt. And now finally, the character might take center stage in this movie as Harrison Ford replaced hurt last year.

In the first episode of "X-Men '97," the 2024 continuation of the 30-year-old "X-Men: The Animated Series," Cyclops (Ray Chase) and several other X-Men break into a warehouse occupied by a well-armed militia of bigots, keen on murdering mutants. The bigots are armed with fist-mounted laser cannons extrapolated from Sentinel technology. As X-Men fans know, Sentinels are 30-foot purple robots programmed to capture and/or kill mutants. Cyclops, using his powerful optic blasts, rescues a mutant called Robert da Costa (Gui Agustini), but he's then captured by the bigots. They remove Cyclops' visor, likely not knowing that it's needed to keep his eyeball powers under control. Cyclops merely blasts his way out, sans visor, winning the day.
There is then a brief edit to the warehouse's exterior, where the above action occurred. A newspaper floats by the camera, highlighting a mutant fashion show. It will take sharp eyes to see it,...

Every year brings rumors of a ‘World War Hulk’ movie in the works. These rumors have persisted for years without any concrete developments.
Over a year ago, there was a report that Marvel Studios was working on a new Hulk solo movie starring Mark Ruffalo, potentially titled ‘World War Hulk,’ loosely based on the comic book storyline. However, since Marvel Studios didn’t make any official statements, the report wasn’t taken seriously. Nevertheless, fans remained hopeful, especially after a subtle tease in the ‘She-Hulk’ series finale in 2022.
Recently, Ruffalo confirmed what many had feared: the chances of a standalone Hulk movie are slim to none.

With every new year come reports of the ‘World War Hulk’ movie being in development. The rumors have been circling for years now with seemingly no end in sight.
More than a year ago there was a report that Marvel Studios was developing a new Hulk solo movie with Mark Ruffalo set to star. According to the report, the movie was supposed to be called World War Hulk and loosely adapt the known comic book storyline of the same name. However, Marvel Studios never provided any official statements, so nobody took that report seriously. Of course, that didn’t stop the fans from believing, especially after the movie was teased under the table in the ‘She-Hulk’ series finale in 2022.

Having overall success throughout her Marvel career, Brie Larson came up with The Marvels in 2023, in an attempt to replicate the incredible success of Captain Marvel’s first solo outing. Unfortunately, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani’s movie made history for all the wrong reasons, as it broke the record set by The Incredible Hulk in 2008 for the worst opening weekend in MCU history.

Kevin Feige, via one of the McU's biggest stars, just disappointed millions of fans by taking away any hope for one rumored movie.

This came amidst rumors that Marvel Studios had finally regained the distribution rights for the hero from Universal, which would allow Disney to produce a Hulk solo movie and keep the profits from all ticket and home video sales.

There have been rumors about a solo Hulk project being in the works in the MCU, specifically World War Hulk, which makes sense given the number of Hulk allies and antagonists that have begun populating the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Liv Tyler will be returning to the MCU as Betty Ross. Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross will now be played by Harrison Ford. The Leader, one of the Hulk’s most notorious villains, is set to make his debut in the MCU as well. The Abomination still roams free (albeit reformed).

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is one of the upcoming MCU projects that’s been facing production challenges. Originally set for release in 2024, it’s been delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike and extensive reshoots. Details about the plot are scarce, though it was known to involve Serpent Society & King Cobra as minor villains, but recent rumors suggest they’ve been removed. However, Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader from ‘The Incredible Hulk’ will make a return. The first look at Nelson’s character in the movie has been revealed by insider CanWeGetSomeToast.

In the sea of upcoming MCU projects ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ certainly stands out due to its seemingly difficult and troubled production. The movie was supposed to be released in 2024, but due to a combination of the SAG-AFTRA strike and necessary extensive reshoots, it’s been delayed for more than a year.
Little is known about the plot of the movie, except for the brief synopsis that was released some time ago. Serpent Society & King Cobra were supposed to be minor villains in the movie but according to the recent rumors, they have been removed from the movie completely.
Now Serpent Society might be gone, but one confirmed character will reprise his role from ‘The Incredible Hulk.’ We’re talking about Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader. Notable scooper and leaker CanWeGetSomeToast revealed the first look at Nelson’s The Leader in the upcoming movie.

Few things are more frustrating when you’re an actor than having your scenes cut from a project. Especially if the project in question is one of the year’s most celebrated releases. Unfortunately for Tim Blake Nelson, his part in Dune: Part Two is on the cutting room floor, and the film’s director, Denis Villeneuve, has no intention of sharing his scenes with audiences. It’s nothing personal; it’s just the way things shook out.
Speaking with Collider about editing the second chapter of his science-fiction opus, Villeneuve said he’s “a strong believer that when it’s not in the movie, it’s dead.” In other words, don’t count on the Blu-ray release for Dune: Part Two to have deleted scenes as part of the physical release’s bonus features. “Sometimes I remove shots and I say, ‘I cannot believe I’m cutting this out.

When you hear the words “professional wrestler,” whose face comes to mind? “Well, let me tell you something, brother…” there may be no more iconic figure in the world of professional wrestling than Terrence Gene Bollea. But you may know him as Hulk Hogan.
So Wtf happened to Hulk Hogan? With a career that spans over 45 years, a lot. Let’s start at the beginning. But before we do, let’s keep in mind that the source of a lot of what follows is Bollea, himself. The complete record of Terry Bollea’s life is My Life Outside the Ring, his 2009 autobiography, which is more exhaustive than 2002’s Hollywood Hogan. In an industry stocked full of duplicitous people, Hulk Hogan’s long been considered to have perhaps the most strained relationship with the truth of any of them. But neither should we let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Movies are subjective creations, with their quality perceived differently by each viewer. However, recent trends in cinema, particularly highlighted by the release of Oppenheimer shed light on certain factors influencing audience reception.
Dune Director Denis Villeneuve has discussed the evolving preferences of moviegoers, pointing to factors beyond just storyline and visuals.
Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer
In the wake of the box office disappointment of films like The Marvels, Villeneuve drew attention to a shift in audience attitudes towards movie runtime. No longer solely focused on narrative and spectacle, audiences are increasingly mindful of the duration of a film.
Villeneuve juxtaposed the underperformance of The Marvels with the success of Christopher Nolan’s project, Oppenheimer, to illustrate this point.

Actor Mark Ruffalo has been in the MCU since 2012’s The Avengers. Playing Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a Hulk, the actor took over from actor Edward Norton after the latter had issues with Marvel during the film The Incredible Hulk. Though Ruffalo has not received a standalone Hulk film yet, the actor has been an irreplaceable part of the Avengers.
While Mark Ruffalo has been extremely loyal to the fanbase and the franchise, he recently came under fire for seemingly criticizing Marvel’s new approach to content production. In an interview with GQ, he seemed to have ruffled a few feathers by saying that the pre-Disney Plus MCU had more ‘mystique’ around it and could probably never return to the way it was.

Mark Ruffalo, currently in the home stretch of the campaign for his Best Supporting Actor nomination for “Poor Things,” recently spoke with GQ and floated a theory as to why we won’t see him lead a film for his most widely-known character.
“I’d love to do a standalone Hulk,” he said, speaking about his superhero persona in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “I just don’t think that’s ever going to happen,” he added, explaining “it’s very expensive if you did a whole movie, which is why they use the Hulk so sparingly. I priced myself out!”

After a series of projects that were not well-received, people are wondering if the production company of Marvel Studios is imploding under the weight of success it has built up for over a decade. With Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Secret Invasion and The Marvels failing to live up to the much more profitable films of the past, the comic banner under the Disney umbrella is now seeking to retool its creative output. Even though the anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine is turning out to be the sole film released from Marvel Studios this year, many think it might actually be the film to save the MCU.
One of two Og Avengers that people still think can carry the load is Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk. Although the character has already had a solo movie with Edward Norton in the role in The Incredible Hulk from 2008, Ruffalo’s interpretation was a slightly...

Los Angeles, Feb 22 (Ians) Hollywood star Mark Ruffalo feels that a sequel to his 2008 superhero film ‘The Incredible Hulk’ may turn out to be “too expensive.”
Ruffalo shared while having a conversation with GQ that he thought Marvel’s “expansion into streaming was really exciting. But the thing about Marvel movies is, you had to wait three years and that created a mystique.”
Marvel Studios is now reducing the amount of content coming out each year. But it may be too late, Ruffalo admits, reports deadline.com.
He said: “These corrections could be really positive things. Will it be what it was? I don’t know.”
The MCU has only had one movie on the character Hulk with ‘The Incredible Hulk’, where Edward Nortan was seen playing Bruce Banner. However, Ruffalo took over the role in ‘The Avengers’ franchise.
Ruffalo would definitely want a “standalone” story on Hulk.

The Marvels time in theaters has officially come to an end and it produced the lowest-grossing film in the MCU. That honor was originally held by The Incredible Hulk, which had a domestic bow of $134.8 million. The Marvels finished its run collecting a low $84.5 million domestically. Out of all of the MCU films in 2023, many predicted that The Marvels would be a failure. Granted, no one expected that it would become the lowest-grossing Marvel movie ever made, but that’s more indicative of the brand’s current state. Marvel is not in a good position right now. However, The...
