    6/10
    Drama
I watched this with my friends completely unknowing what to expect from this show, whether it was drama, action or a thriller show. But it turned out to be a great show, where a family of 5 runs away from everything they have while the police is chasing them. Its a drama series I guess where you get to follow a family and see how it is to live a lie. I have only seen one episode but hopefully the next one will be just as exciting as the pilot. I felt it ended to soon, even though it was an hour long pilot. Give it a chance;) Nobody else has written about this soI hope it comes useful to some of you out there.
  • I have just finished watching the pilot episode of Runaway tonight and thought it was excellent. It was listed as having 6 episodes.

Out of curiosity I searched IMDb and discovered yet again, that another American import has gone, for one reason or another to The Great American TV Network Graveyard. Last week it was Kidnapped and Vanished now Runaway, do the UK TV networks get them at bargain basement prices if they are incomplete???

I am totally disgusted by the networks, on both sides of the Atlantic, don't we as viewers/customers have any say in what we wish to see, to the conclusion of a story/ series???? Why watch in the first place, if there is not conclusion to the story???...... Well DUH!!! Are we just statistics that don't match or matter to the networks target viewing audience????.
  • I really enjoyed watching this show but I can't find what channel it is on anymore. I saw about 5 episodes and then it was gone but apparently there have been about ten. If someone could let me know what network it is now on hopefully I can catch up. I really like the characters, they each play their parts so well. Donnie Walberg plays the part of the former adulterer with a guilty conscience beautifully. I enjoy the plot and each week the story lines are great. The last episode that I saw before not being able to find it was when the real estate agent came to the house and someone was watching in a car from across the road I saw clips for the next episode but then it did'not come on. I have the box that automatically tapes shows that you want but the show didn't come back on. I would really enjoy watching more episodes if I knew the time and the day.

The best show this season on the CW, follows the same style as the content filled dramas that the WB was famous for such as Dawson's Creek, Roswell, Felicity etc. Very worthy of continuing for a full season. The pilot grabbed my attention, and kept me glued to my seat throughout the entire hour. All of the characters were well developed, and the script appeared very genuine and real. The series also seems to be a nice, original, break from the prime time norm, dealing with a plot that is not so common. It appeases to those who would enjoy a mystery style plot. It is not high on action content, the dialog and storyline rather are what what make this storyline so long. Probably its only weakness is its time slot.

The show is still on E4 however at 9:00pm they are now showing re-runs of "How To Look Good Naked" the show is now on at 1:30am.

I think the show is really good, I don't know why they have cancelled it, I have read that they did conclude the series however this is yet to be proved because to me the story needs to played out more to be good entertainment. I have found lately that they are cancelling all good televisions shows which is very unfair as most of them have good story lines and are worth watching. It seems that CW only care about how much money they are making on the shows, when as a viewer who has to pay for digital I think I should also have a choice it what I wish to see.
  • Well, all I can say is that I watched this show because of Donnie Wahlberg. A family on the run after dad is falsely convicted of a terrible crime.

8 episodes really isn't enough time for character development.
