  • Warning: Spoilers
What a boring, predictable movie. The actors & actresses seemed like it was their first movie.

Tracey & Eric have just adopted a baby boy when the police come to take him away. Seems like his birth mother neglected to mention that she was married and the birth father wanted the baby.

Their marriage seems shaky after that until Eric comes home and tells Tracey that a woman in his office has a niece who is pregnant from a one night stand and wants to give the baby up for adoption. They meet Gabriella at a restaurant and while Eric & Tracey think she is lovely, the audience knows she is a few fries short of a happy meal.

To say much more would be to give away the plot line. There was one interesting twist but the last 10 minutes was so typical. It was a waste of 2 hours.
  • Enjoyed this film about a very nice couple who are in great hopes of adopting a child and are both very successful and there is a father-in-law who recently gave them a wonderful brand new home for their wedding present. This is a story which deals into the mistakes that people can make when trying to adopt a child and how all legal steps must be taken and papers signed that will legally bind the adoption. However, this film shows problems that this couple seem to face and some very heartbreaking experiences and horror they encounter with the woman who is willing to give up her baby. There is no easy path to trying to adopt a child, just having the money is not really the determining factor and great care must be taken. The entire cast of actors did an outstanding performance and it was a very well directed and produced TV film.
  • This movie kept me guessing, especially for a Lifetime movie. Not that I have anything against Lifetime movies, I watch them all the time, but this felt different. This kind of felt like a "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" type of film. Now, don't get me wrong it did get a little twisty at the end for its own good, but I'll take that over a predictable movie anytime. I thought the lead actors were great. I've seen Chandra West in other movies and I really liked the actress who played, Gabby. I gave the film an 8 because every Lifetime movie has that Lifetime movie thing. Has to fit into the mold, sometimes over the top, but, trust me, if you want to catch a film that has more twists than most, and will hold you until the end, check this out. I see it playing all the time. I highly recommend it.
