The Doctor has survived the attack from the monster with the big gloves. Dent has gone to meet the heads of the Colony, when the Doctor burst in, explaining to the Colonists the failed attempt on his life. The TARDIS is still missing. Norton is unveiled as a traitor, whilst Winton and Jo break into the IMC ship to seek evidence, but forewarned Dent captures them. Winton breaks free and is sheltered by Caldwell. The Colonists plan an attack on IMC's ship, and now the natives capture Jo Grant and disappear into a rocky cave with her.......
The threat the Doctor faced at the start was sadly a bit ridiculous, and it's turned into a bit of a yawn fest. The characters are so dull and uninteresting, only Caldwell is enjoyable. Bernard Kay is giving them all a true lesson in character acting.
There is absolutely no mention of the murder from the last episode, it's all been quickly forgotten about. How many times can Jo Grant be taken prisoner? in this episode it's 3 times, that's seriously lazy writing, she should have offered more then just being the constant victim. Way too predictable. 5/10
