When I first viewed the trailer of this anime on one of my anime.and on the DVD DOJO on Anime Network, I had to decide if I would like to see it or not. But after hearing about it,I did. When I ordered the complete collection from Best Buy. It was truly touching. My favorite stories in this show were about Suomi, and Karin. Their stories were the best and inspiring. But what this series is really about the sentimental points we all relate to. We can all share our own stories to the people we love and know. But this show resembles also Love,Hope, and our dreams. But however, this show is the best. So if you want to see some good, then see this show,it truly is inspiring, and you will see what I mean.

    Warning: Spoilers
This is a rather unusual anime series; instead of the expected ongoing story featuring a regular cast of characters we get a series of thematically linked stories; each featuring its own cast of characters. The link is each of the protagonists has heard of a myth that those who see diamond dust (ground-level cloud composed of tiny ice crystals) with the person they love are destined for happiness together. Each of the stories, set in Hokkaido, follows a different female protagonist as the deal with certain relationship issues.

At first I was a little unsure about this series; it seemed odd that the cast suddenly changed in the third episode but each of the short stories were well told and felt believable… the one featuring a woman whose father was dying was particularly poignant. The animation and character designs may not be as polished as some series but it doesn't detract from the stories. The voice work in the English dub was perfectly acceptable even though I usually prefer the subbed version where it is available. Overall this is worth watching if you want something different.

This is a great series I watched when a friend told me of it and I loved because not only were these stories meaningful and touching but they were also quite realistic and had consequences when there should have been consequences.

I found the consequences and realism unlike certain pathetic romances I saw where there were none where the guy remained a puppy despite being treated like crap and all other kinds of nonsense I don't care to mention.

Also in each story told in parts I liked each of the romances and there were a couple that failed or those that got together etc.

This was a wonderful series I highly recommend!
