Another 3 hours, and the plot thickens
Pierre Woodman's imitation of "Sin City" for the Private Media label picks up steam in Part 2, with some effective plot developments and an added roster of tremendously stacked actresses to keep the sex pot boiling.

Our stalwart hero Bleck (played by obscuro Reda Semlahen) encounters lovely Carla (Sonia Carter) who blames him for the death of her twin sister Jane, strictly a frame-up. Also introduced is a girl-gang running a sordid section of town called Vice City or Area 69, led by Chanelle (Olivia Weston).

Titof, wearing little gloves with sharp knives sticking out of them, plays arch-villain Tiger, and there's a real-life tiger named Rumba also thrown into the mix. Reda's many fight scenes are poorly staged, but the "Sin City"-imitation black & white setting spotted by color makes for arresting imagery. During the lengthy XXX sex scenes, Woodman randomly switches back & forth between black & white and full color, apparently to make the dumber fans happy, as they apparently would be disappointed by a consistent b&w movie. (I'm of course old school, having grown up watching all my TV in black & white until I was an old enough to drive when color took over.)

For me, the thrill was Woodman casting some fabulous massive breasted talent in Part 2, notably Laura Lion (of many a Dorcel release) in an impressive gang-bang, as well as the bountiful Rebecca Smith/Jessica Moore from Hungary. He even throws in Cindy, a huge plumper cast as one of major character Carla's friends.

In a way this is far more entertaining (at least for an Adult Cinema fan) than the original because Woodman's uncensored approach fits the material better than an R-rated mainstream format. But given trends in porn, I doubt if such material as these old Private epics hold much interest for anybody today, existing as mere curios from a wayward, big-spending past (Digital Playground/Adam & Eve's pair of "Pirates" movies being the obvious exception).
