9 October 2006 | ShecklerGirl_No1
| New international boy group
Lou Pearlman, the man behind the Backstreet Boys and N*SYNC(Just to name two but there are PLENTY more), launched the first truly international boy band, US5. These are 5 talented guys from Germany, America and the UK. Chris Watrin(18, German), Michael Johnson(19, German), Jay Khan(24, English), Izzy Galegos(23, American) and Christopher Richard Stringini AKA Richie Stringini(17, American) are the 5 boys that make US5. In this reality TV show you get to follow the boys round, getting together as a group, becoming big in America and German, and then trying to make it big in the UK. Watch them travel round the country, making a name for themselves until the launch of their first single 'Maria' on 25th September 2006. Maria is out now and got to number 38 the first week in the charts. It may not be the best, but is a start. The boys have also released 'Come back to me baby' 'Just because of you' and 'Mama' in German and America. They also released their album 'Here we go' in the same places. It will be released over in the UK with a few extra tracks. Their next single 'In the club' will be out soon but the video has already been played on VIVA LIVE, a German TV programme and it got great responses. If you would like to see the video, please go on to and type into the search 'US5'. Anything to do with US5 will come up. You will see their other videos. Big In America was only the start for them, they have the rest of their career to win over your hearts if they haven't already done so. These boys will definitely be around for years to come.
