Michael Sinterniklaas: I do like to try to find new people, not because I'm tired if hearing the old people, I think if someone serves a part, they serve a part. If I'm not finding just the right newons, I'm gonna have to find them somewhere else. Like 'Berserk' needed very something very specific and uh, and I think I got real lucky then finding those people when I did.

Featured review
I heard about AiVA while searching for ways to start an acting career. Being a huge fan of anime and manga I decided to give this DVD a shot. If was unable to establish a career as a stage actor I could have some education on the other option of being a voice actor as well. It arrived in the mail about a week later and from the second it booted up in my DVD player I was enthralled. I won't spoil it for you, but it's rare that you'll have so much fun starting up a DVD. As I watched for around 2 hours, I actually had to take a break and come back to it to digest and continue to absorb more. I didn't completely do that by choice; this DVD literally has that much info on it. Everything that every person said was important and had a substantial amount of value to my future. I'm no journalist and I don't plan on writing an epic review of this, though it truly deserves one. But, I can not recommend this DVD enough if you are at all interested in having voice acting be a part of your career or your whole career. While this DVD has been marketed towards anime fans, it is undoubtedly worth much more than that. It will fill you with confidence as you hear the struggles, trials, and tribulations of other voice actors who have been exactly where you/I are and have made it doing what they love. I was actually somewhat jaded by anime around the time I ordered this as I was more interested in live-action stuff, but this struck a cord with me. It not only re-ignited my passion for anime, but built several other layers for my passion for acting and theater in general, to which I was still new to at the time. I hope it does the same for you. It is well-worth a purchase.
