Having seen snakes on a plane quite recently, I was ready for a good giggle with this. Unfortunately I didn't even get a giggle, let alone a good one.

It seemed like someone had a good idea but didn't have the creativity to turn it into something half decent.

    Terrible English accent.

    The puns just weren't funny.

It's really difficult to find enough to say about this. I suppose the plane looked nice. They might have had more luck with elephants or something.

Right up there with Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and Attack of the 50 Foot Woman...except in an under 10 minute format. Much easier to watch evil kitties than possessed snakes (ie. Snakes on a Plane). Who knew that cheesy acting could be so entertaining and deliciously fun? It'll make you think twice about carrying on a cranky cat or even a fur coat as a carry on to your next flight. Perhaps it'd be better to just smuggle on a bottle of shampoo. What's next for this director? Perhaps hypnotizing perfume on an elevator. Maybe Tim Powers is channeling Steven King, Kevin Smith and Gilda Radner for a salad of style. All this and stand up comedy, too. Tim Powers earns his moniker and trademark of TimIsFunny.com.

A bunch of adorable, yet dangerous genetically enhanced cats get loose and go on a rampage on board a commercial airliner. Feisty young lass Kitty (a charming turn by Kari Nissena) and her unfaithful cad husband (a solid performance by Dean Cochran) find themselves caught in the middle of this horrifying catastrophe (pun intended). Director Cory Strassburger maintains a deliciously deadpan tone throughout and elicits sound performances from the cast. Besides the two excellent leads, there's nice supporting contributions by Jerry Kovich as worried genetic engineer Dr. Fritz, Susan T. Collins as perky Southern gal Sally Brown, and Jack Galasso as a laid-back Elvis Presley lookalike passenger. The shots of a cute black and white feline trying to look scary and menacing are downright hilarious. The bad cat pun-ridden dialogue includes such gut-busting gems as "He's catatonic" and the truly immortal retort "Let's move on and nail these pussies!". Granted, we're not talking the most sophisticated type of humor here, but this enjoyable eight minute short spoof still tickles the funny bone quite well just the same.
