Bud Lee and writer/producer Simon Wolf teamed up for many classic porn fantasy features around the turn of this century, and this one is worth revisiting. It is notable for employing a top-notch cast of talent from its era.
Aurora Snow is known for her gonzo prowess, but here is convincing, always wearing glasses, as a computer nerd, who the viewer knows will inevitably get down and dirty by the final reel. Fanciful story concerns opening a gateway to other parallel dimensions, which results not in adventure or scientific discovery but rather an excuse for tongue-in-cheek sex scenes.
Snow creates on her computer a model of a sexy male, which comes to life in the form of Evan Stone thanks to a lightning strike during a storm. Femme cast including superstar Asia Carrera and Keri Windsor (co-stars at the time on A & E's hit series "Naked Hollywood") partake of Stone's dick, and the audience is treated to a rare mute role by the usually ultra-hammy Evan.
Later in the show two (for sale in the lobby?) love dolls marketed as effigies of Asia and Rayveness also come to life in the form (not resembling the originals) of Nikita Denise and Holly Hollywood, further example of great casting.
It's lightweight romantic fantasy, a genre that Wolf perfected and which is currently missing from the Adult Cinema tool box.
