Katsumi was playing Katsumi (herself it usually seems to me). This is the only reason that I watched the movie, at least with Katsumi the way that she performs seems honest. Not an obviously faked performance which is to common these days in most movies. Either the girls playing to the camera, and even worse - constantly (whatever they are doing) turning to look at the camera. Or 'trying' to seem that they like what is happening when they obviously are not. The movie is very similar to most movies she has made recently. Plot/scenes are rather formulaic. Katsumi's scenes are the only parts worth watching, as she did put some effort into her performances and really seemed to enjoy herself........... Unfortunately nothing new in content or themes. Especially, no imagination by the director and/or 'writers'. Directed by rote - 'same old - same old'. But, if nothing else is available, it is worth watching - only for Katsumi's scenes. The other actresses are a disappointment. Not one of the better movies I have watched recently. Personally I would opt for a Japanese made and directed movie - not a French one such as this. The one that immediately springs to mind is Haruka Aida's Tsubaki House - also released this year.
