PG-13 | | Biography, Drama, History
A chronicle of the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was reviled for her extravagant political and personal life.
Susanne Bier wrote an early draft of the script and was originally attached to direct the film.
Georgiana, The Duchess of Devonshire:
Do you think of me when we're not together?
Charles Grey: You ought to know I do.
Georgiana, The Duchess of Devonshire: You hesitated before you replied.
Charles Grey: No, I'm unused to being asked so directly. And by you of all people. I think of you all the time. I always have.
At the beginning of the film when Georgiana is talking with her mother about her engagement, the curl running down the back of Georgiana's neck disappears and reappears multiple times.
