As it is a series where mainly insects are treated, the creative production of the show did not want to fall into the classic cliche where a pest exterminator was the main antagonist of the series, that is why it was decided that the main antagonist was the Dr. Lance Pierce, an entomologist, an insect expert who would be planning to capture the creepie's mother, which is a species of mantis from Madagascar.
