The implications of this film are horrendous in the extreme. Even for someone who has not entirely surrendered to the official terror ideology, the mind is hardly able to accommodate the perception of reality presented here. Footage of the collapse of the WTC buildings is relentlessly examined and re-examined in the light of expert analysis and eye- and ear-witness accounts. The systematic accumulation of evidence coordinated by director Sofia Shafquat tells a disconcerting story pointing to a conclusion only the most courageous and open-minded can hope to grapple with. If you enjoy unraveling a mystery, asking the awkward question, and investigating the niggling doubt, then this is a film for you. Be warned though, the answers you may get will spawn even more disturbing questions. Thanks to this documentary our appetite for Part 2 is well and truly whetted.

Our lives are merely a small and anonymous part of the whole greater idea that 'terrorism is endangering our democracy'. In fact, the reality is that our 'protytype' of a democracy must secure his hunger for oil. 9/11 mysteries lets you decide whether the official story of the happenings on that shameful day are true or whether we are being puppeted like Hitler and co. brainwashed the Germans in WW2. If you take the time to watch this piece, you will ask yourself: 'How can we be lied to like this in the 21st century, using modern media and the experience of WW2'.

gotenks_149 June 2007This was a very good film and makes you question what you think you know about 9/11. It looked at the history of the World Trade Center. It also explores scientific facts that challenge and possibly disprove the buildings collapsing by being struck by an airplane alone. It talks with demolition experts and who stood to gain from the destruction. It is presented well and thoroughly explains all of its arguments. I learned many interesting things and my suspicion meter has been raised a few notches!
I recommend it to everyone that is interested in seeking the truth. The question is what will we do when we attain it? -

The guy that made this film is a Registered Republican who watched the film "9/11:In Plane Sight" and was so angered by what he saw, he decided to make a video to counter it, however as he started investigating it, what he found was that the majority of the evidence in that film is ACTUALLY TRUE.
So he decided to investigate further and what hes uncovered has made been put onto film.
The film is split into various parts that go into the history of the WTC, how they were built, what materials were used, and speak to professionals within the engineering industry how the construction failed that day. Other parts include the events leading up to the attacks, the damage done by the planes hitting the towers as well as the collapse of the towers and also the aftermath of the collapse, as well as the clean up operation.
The film shows you the official version of events according to NIST and FEMA and does an excellent job of highlight the inconsistencies of how the towers collapse.
The films is a comprehensive guide to what happened to the WTC1, 2 & 7 and the makers have done an excellent job, they speak with engineers, demolition experts, physics experts who explain why how the towers could not have collapsed due to fires or the attacks.
The bit about the demolition is very interesting for anyone who has ever doubted that WTC 1, 2 & (Especially) 7 fell, all back up with evidence and speaking with the people who have expertise in these areas. They back up what they says with news evidence where you can hear explosions before the towers collapse.
I remember the time news networks on 9/11 were not sure if there were explosives were planted inside the towers. This films shows you clips where you can hear explosions before the collapse as well as conversations with survivors like William Rodriguez who was the last person that came out of WTC alive. As well as this there is additional footage and recordings of the firefighters who were there that day WTC 1 & 2 were White Elephants, very expensive offices with lots of empty space. Something which I didn't know about 7. I didn't know that WTC 7 had various offices that belong to the CIA, Secret Services as well as thousands of case files into corporate fraud of some of the biggest companies, all lost on that day.
It shows you photos of WTC 5 & 6 which suffered lots more damage than WTC 7, yet they were still standing. The film does a great job with all the evidence and suggests that the only way these towers collapsed was by a mixture of Thermate (Not Thermite as some suggest and the reasons for the molten iron pool found weeks after the collapse under the rubble) and explosives. They even show you the thick steele beams which have obviously been cut with Demolition Charges put in a V shape (A standard practice in demolitions) I would highly recommend EVERY American watches this, anyone who says it's a load of rubbish can't have watched this film as the evidence and science is all backed up. -
Trying-to-be-objective8 December 2006Do not write this off as another crackpot conspiracy theory. This film is especially good because it provides analysis of demolitions by structural engineers. It also uses evidence of molten steel at ground zero to counter the official story that the steel merely weakened due to jet fire and did not melt. The possibility of thermite explosives being used is presented by Professor Steven Jones and the symmetrical collapse of Building 7 is also analyzed. Excellent compilation of interviews from heroes who were at the WTC including William Rodriguez, recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the last survivor rescued from the buildings.

Unlike what a second user suggested here, nothing in this film finds its basis in fear, suspicion, or hysteria but only in solidly grounded investigation and scientific facts. This user misrepresents the film completely and is not being intellectually honest. This film is permeated with intellectual honesty unblemished by unreasoning emotion. "Simple physics" IS part of the basis of this film's shattering of the official story. This film is not for the closed-minded or for the faint of heart who are not ready to face the implications of what really took place in New York City on September 11 and in the days leading up to and following that day.

See this movie. It is not crazy conspiracy stuff. It has a lot of plausible evidence by plausible people in it.
It actually doesn't give you weird answers. It just raises the right questions that US gov. has failed to clarify so far.

paveltsvetkov28 December 2006I do not know whether the facts - or the interpretations of facts - in this movie represent the reality or not. It is a convincing piece of documentary but then again - so were the Discovery Channel films in which the same facts were interpreted differently.
Is it possible that a certain very rich man staged the whole 9.11 affair in order to make profit? Quite plausible in my opinion. ...that the Mayor of New York and the President may have known something in advance and even be part of a common plot to shuffle world politics at the expense of a few thousand domestic casualties? Well, that stretches it, but we've seen worse.
Is it true that steel cannot burn like paper bringing down a skyscraper in less than 10 seconds? As solid as rocks.
What really makes this movie stand out though is its tone: the authors manage to talk about tragic events and hint on cruel deeds without ever starting to preach (thus turning an impartial narrative into cheap propaganda).
In this they succeed immensely. -
"Inside Job" doesn't mean anything. But neither does "conspiracy theory". The official story of 9/11 is that these 19 men CONSPIRED with bin Laden to attack the US. 20 people. And while I wouldn't advise anyone to take the filmmaker's presentation whole as a replacement for the official conspiracy theory, it DOES raise fair points and important questions. What's at issue, as far as 9/11 Truth goes: The possibility that there were other people involved in 9/11 besides just these 19 men. If ANYONE else was involved, and that is not discovered and exposed, those people will certainly attack us again. No matter whether you see that someone within our own country might have been involved or not, consider this: our military was running hijacks-into-buildings exercises on the morning of 9/11 (ostensibly a coincidence), and yet our leaders came forward and said "I don't think anyone could have imagined that these people might hijack an airplane and crash it into a building." Fact is, as 9/11 truth has pointed out, this concept has been run as an exercise since the 70's and was running that morning. So our government LIED to us about the knowledge of the threat. HAD THEY NOT LIED, had we been privy to the reality of the threat, people in the South Tower of the WTC would CERTAINLY not have been SENT BACK TO THEIR OFFICES, or would have known better than to return. ANYONE telling you that there exist no big issues that need to be resolved is simply not being honest. Wargames, WTC7's collapse (demolition), the fact that the NIST, hired to explain the collapses on 9/11 took years to file a report, and when they did, we find that, in 12000 pages, it stops explaining what happened as the plane damaged section of the building starts to fail, and says of the REST OF THE COLLAPSE, UNDAMAGED FLOORS DOWN TO 6 FLOORS BELOW GROUND (!) "Well, we all saw it on TV. The collapse did not stop." 9/11 Mysteries doesn't prove anything. But that's not the problem. The PROBLEM is that the government has yet to prove anything. And if they are hiding ANYTHING, especially if that is their opportunism getting the best of them and allowing the attacks to occur, chances are that we're gonna get hit again. And there won't be any way to stand up after the next one.

stopthewar-11 January 2007I found this film informative. However its main weakness is that it uses the kind on of mind control techniques that it accuses the US media of using. This does the film no favours.
I personally do not believe that the the towers could have come down the way they did due to the plane crashes, these could have caused part or all of the towers to topple over but not collapse in the way they did. The similarity to controlled demolitions of large buildings is uncanny.
The film only deals with how the buildings collapsed, not other events such as the hijackings themselves, the Pentagon and flight 93. These will be covered in future episodes. -
knightc613 February 2007...not that someone else is trying to cash in on the 9/11 conspiracism that runs rampant among people too lazy to research the matters for themselves, but it's mind boggling at how many people will just accept whatever internet video is hot at the moment at face value, no questions asked.
The film starts off by letting us know that the narrator/producer was a conservative Republican (why is this important?) and a demolition hobbyist (yep, thats what he calls himself). Because of the above qualifications, he knows the towers would not have been able to collapse unless someone planted explosives in them. Yep, the sound reasoning only gets more impressive from there as he explains his exhaustive research methods that consisted of surfing the internet and watching some movies. For a week. This certainly puts the hundreds of people with actual experience in these matters and the educational background necessary to understand the events to shame. This man managed to completely dismiss the hundreds of thousands of collective man hours of the industries leading experts in one week, by surfing the internet.
There is little "new" info or takes on already debunked nonsense in this home made vid, just regurgitated bumper sticker talking points. ("never before has a steel building collapsed due to fire", not only intentionally misleading but factually wrong).
What surprises me is in the wake of people being forced to face the reality of how factually inaccurate and intentionally misleading Loose Change and it's editions really were, these same people are now championing this similar video without skipping a beat. It's as if they learned nothing about thinking for themselves, and most likely never will.
Still, like loose change, this video has it's merits, especially as a study in mass paranoia and rumor regurgitation. I recommend watching it, as I did with loose change, and then seeing screw911mysteries as a companion piece. or don't, if you aren't really concerned with truth. But please, don't turn off your brains and just accept what someone says on an internet video as fact, look into it for yourself. -
I think this film was great! I'm looking forward to more like it. I hope it sparks dialog and confrontation so we can get to the truth about what is going on in our country. The people who don't like it and think it's "banal" are just asleep. (Or they are behind it.) When your mind is more awake watch it again. You can't sleep too much longer. We're in a new era, now. People are waking up. With the election of Obama, a fire has been lit. Films like this are a precursor to what is to come. People are becoming way too smart, especially visually. In this YouTube era we're too visually sophisticated to fall for a lot of what the media tries to pull over on us. The traditional news media are the dinosaurs that will soon be extinct.

imdb06-129 October 2006Sorry to all the hysterical types who want to believe in this hokum-- simple physics is all that's needed to explain the collapse. Hold the explosives. Ask yourself why the narrator asks an unending stream of questions (and not very good ones). Why? Because this film contributes nothing, just dramatizes clouds of falling debris (which do hold a certain ghoulish fascination). "Why the Towers Fell" and other serious documentaries actually answer questions, present facts, and contain 100% less Carmina Burana. Pause a moment to remember those who perished that day, work for justice, understanding, and peace in the world. What the world doesn't need is more groundless suspicion, fear, and hysteria.

Truly, truly awful. The questions were mind-numbingly dumb (as was the commentary), if anything it makes you realise why the Sept 11 campaigners still haven't been able to prove a single one of their allegations. This film must be a false-flag operation, it truly is that bad. Watch it only if you are a die-hard conspiracy buff, or you can suspend all disbelief at the banality of the film and it's utter lack of impact. I tried hard to understand why she really decided to make this film, and the only conclusion that I could come to was that it is an attempt to cash-in on peoples natural desire to think the unthinkable.
Only watch this if you have already lost the will to live! -
quadratur12 March 2023One good thing about this so called "documentation": It encourages people to think for themselves. But if you do so you can easily falsify 90% of the "facts" in this film. Most of that because you can recognise the wrong deductions, others because you can check the so-called "facts" with little effort by the help of literature and proper sources. Even paper books that are printed before 9/11 can give you enough simple scientific information to falsify most of the claims that are made in this film. And the remaining 10% which you cannot check by yourself are just unproved allusions. Equally I could claim that the bike I had some decades ago as a child has been taken to Africa and used for repairing a wheelchair. Nobody can prove or falsify this.
It is okay when people think they find truth in this movie, but this only proves that they did not follow one of the main statements given by conspiracy theories: think for yourself, check all arguments, and do not believe everything that you've been told. -
leplatypus16 September 2011As millions of people, i learned 9/11 with TV. Now the TV told me that what was shown of TV was false and not accurate. Which TV tells the truth so?
As you can see, TV can say everything and what we get through it isn't the truth but gross facts and loose opinions. It's up to you to search for data and to think over all of them if you want to really know what happened.
Of all the documentaries i watched about this tragedy, this is the weakest: the voice-over and score are ridiculous for this kind of drama. Except if you are a demolition expert, the explanations are too technical to follow.
The only good arguments here are about the preparation: Indeed, if the WTC have been destroyed, the explosives and other things needed for that should have been in the building before 9/11. Mysteriously, a lot of strange things happened: blackout, evacuations, heavy demolition...
But as always, the new footages, witnesses are just part of an endless abyss. Those who have different opinions will find new footages or witnesses for their side. -
tomasajdari28 December 2023A controlled demolition like this is highly unlikely. Explosives powerful enough to break the core columns would be heard hundreds of meters away from the towers.
If you want to keep it quiet, use thermite! However, the planes created huge holes inside the buildings. Thermite charges powerful enough to take out the columns would be bright enough to be seen miles away! And only absurd amounts of smoke would be able to conceal them - and the conspirators wouldn't have any way of preventing air flows that would quickly dissipate the smoke.
We're talking about a bright, white light. You can't understand unless you see it.
So, it is highly unlikely that explosives would be used in a controlled demolition because they would be heard from hundreds of meters away. If you want to keep it quiet, thermite could be used, but the thermite charges would be bright enough to be seen miles away. The conspirators wouldn't have any way of preventing air flows that would quickly dissipate the smoke. The bright, white light is a characteristic of thermite reactions .
