During the Iraq War, a Sergeant recently assigned to an army bomb squad is put at odds with his squad mates due to his maverick way of handling his work.
The production had a hard time booking key crew members and department heads, since the film was shot on location in the Middle East (specifically in Jordan, the country right next door to Iraq).
Staff Sergeant William James:
I want my five bucks back, buddy.
Beckham: Five dollars for what, man? You crazy now?
Staff Sergeant William James: Yeah. The DVD you sold me was crap.
Beckham: You crazy, man. That's impossible. It's Hollywood special effects.
Staff Sergeant William James: No. It was shaky. It was out of focus, buddy.
Beckham: What, you want donkey ...
When James pulls his side arm on the cab driver, the pistol he holds is not the military issue M-9, or civilian Beretta 92F, but a much older Beretta 92 model that has never been issued by the US Millitary. It looks like it's an old model 92 with a round trigger guard, frame-mounted safety, and a deep blued finish. The modern Berettas have combat trigger guards, slide-mounted safety/ hammer drops, and a mat finish. The Beretta 92 has been out of production since the 1970s.
There are no opening credits, not even a title.
