All the children have American accents, while all the adults have Scottish ones. This is clearly a deliberate choice by the filmmakers, meant, in part, to emphasize the difference between adults, who are stuck in their ways, and children, who are open to the new possibilities. Anyway, since the characters aren't "really" speaking English (we, supposedly, are hearing a "translation"), their accents are artificial constructs, not representative of how they "truly" sound.

The 2019 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray printing add the 2013 Universal Pictures logo and omits the closing 2002 Paramount Pictures logo.
