PG-13 | | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi
After Peter Parker is bitten by a genetically altered spider, he gains newfound, spider-like powers and ventures out to solve the mystery of his parent's mysterious death.
This is the first "Spider-Man" film to not feature Spider-Man's perennial love interest Mary-Jane Watson (in Sam Raimi's three films played by Kirsten Dunst). Instead, Peter Parker's original girlfriend Gwen Stacy appears (who had been played by Bryce Dallas Howard in Spider-Man 3 (2007)).
Five, four, three, two, one... Ready or not, here I come.
Towards the end of the film, Gwen leaves the Oscorp tower to meet Captain Stacy at the sidewalk. We hear the sound effect of his car screeching to a stop, but the car is already stopped with the door open from the start of the scene.
The film title is covered in spider-webs crawling with spiders.
