    For old school Sesame street watcher such as I, It's a bit strange to see Telly Monster and Luis sitting behind a computer and sending an E- mail to all of Telly's friends in this 2002 home video release. Then it gets even weirder when you realize the footage (from a 2000 season 31 show) is already outdated when the second segment shows some kids prancing around with a giant floppy disc.

    After a receiving back a rude E-mail from Oscar and a hungry one from Cookie, Telly's third reply is from his 'mystery friend' (this is a very limited mailbox that doesn't show the name of the sender), who begins giving Telly some clues to find out who this friend might be. And so the Tellster goes around Sesamestreet using everybody's computer to see if he's got another clue in the mail. On the way he's joined by his best buddy Baby Bear, who as usual isn't much help at all.

    After the mystery is solved, the video segues into a 2001 Elmo's World segment. This includes all the usual Elmo business including an appearance by the late Michael Jeter as Mr Noodle's brother. Unfortunately, for this particular Sesame-lover, Elmo's world is pretty difficult to sit through without using the fast forward button. We

    When Telly Monster sends an E-mail to all of his friends, one 'mystery friend' starts sending back clues for him to find out who this friend might be. Gotta love Telly though. shame there's so little merchandising of him to be found; just a simple beanie bag and some PVC's. I guess he's just not cute enough to be a big seller. But he's just fine to star in an education video release like this.
