Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto Shippuden ended seven years ago, while his rival, Eiichiro Oda, is yet to conclude his magnum opus. One Piece is currently in its Final Saga, and it might not be long before the anime finally comes to an end. One Piece began before Naruto and is still going strong even several years after Naruto’s end. So, many think it to be the better anime.
But one statement from Masashi Kishimoto can change the entire perspective of the fans. During an interview, he revealed an important fact about his magnum opus, which makes him a better mangaka than his rival. Eiichiro Oda is considered to be a genius, but after hearing Kishimoto sensei, people might understand how underrated the latter was.

Masashi Kishimoto has given his mind, body, and soul in creating the masterpiece better known as Naruto. Being part of the big three of shonen manga and anime, it sets a standard unlike any other. From the world-building to the individual arcs, each character goes through, the series was constructed to perfection with great time and patience.
A still from Naruto: Shippuden
It was only when the series ended, that a gaping hole was left. Big shoes were left to be filled, with no one deemed capable enough in the eyes of the fans. When the sequel series came into being, it had a lot of stakes. The expectations Boruto had to live up to, not only for his father’s reputation but for the fans’ love as well.

Masashi Kishimoto created one of the greatest pieces of fiction to ever exist. Naruto reached its peak of popularity, and even after ending in 2017, it remains one of the most popular anime ever. It is considered one of the Big Three of anime, along with One Piece and Bleach. Naruto Uzumaki’s journey from being an outcast to the Hokage is an inspirational story.
The fans were happy to see their favourite hero getting the recognition he deserved, but they were also sad since it was all coming to an end. They wanted a sequel, and Masashi Kishimoto was against that idea. He created an empire with his magnum opus, and there was nothing left to do. Even though he was against the idea of a sequel, he put forward a condition that was to be fulfilled for a sequel to happen.

Fans often consider the introduction of the Otsutsukis towards the end of Naruto a ‘sudden’ and controversial move. Masashi Kishimoto’s magnum opus has always been about the struggle of ninjas and the fight for their way of life. However, the shift from shinobis to aliens gave everyone a non-surprising whiplash.
Kishimoto is famous for creating marvelous villains, whose backstories can make you cry. Yet, he shifted the game towards super-powerful aliens, who later became the main antagonists of Boruto.
The seemingly “out of the blue” introduction of the Otsutsukis has been criticized by many. But was it really that sudden? Here are some of the instances when Kishimoto foreshadowed the Otsutsukis in Naruto.

The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, also known as the Gedo Statue, is the husk of the Ten-Tails that remained after its chakra was separated from its body.

The Akatsuki is one of the most brutal factions in anime history. They were formed with the idea of capturing all the tailed beasts and summoning the Ten-Tails. Being the Nine-Tails fox’s jinchuriki, Naruto Uzumaki also had to stay alert. The Akatsuki recruited shinobi with unique abilities and divided them into groups of two, which helped them catch their prey.
One of the members of the evil faction was Hidan. Hidan was partnered up with the oldest member, Kakuzu. Hidan had one of the most deadly abilities and used it to kill Asuma Sarutobi. But one of the Naruto fan theories suggests that the overpowered ability proved to be the reason for his demise. Shikamaru Nara had an advantage after Hidan used his Jashin ability against him in Naruto Shippuden.

Sasuke, the deuteragonist of Naruto, had a steep descent into vengeance. The once cool and collected character, who everyone had a minor crush on, became a cold and heartless man after the Uchiha clan massacre.
By choosing the path of revenge, Sasuke served as the perfect foil for Naruto, who decided to pursue peace instead. It was because of Sasuke that Naruto realized why revenge should not be chosen.
Many fans might have a love-hate relationship with Masashi Kishimoto due to Sasuke’s dark era, but the mangaka has declared once and for all that he will never regret his decisions and why they were important.
Why was Sasuke’s evil arc necessary in Naruto?
In an interview with Kana, Masashi Kishimoto discussed the differences between Naruto and Sasuke, and why it was necessary. According to Kishimoto, he deliberately made the two characters oppose each other in their thinking.

Naruto Theory: Orochimaru Stole Tsunade’s Son, Experimented on Him – She Doesn’t Even Know He Exists
It has been a few years since Naruto Shippuden ended, with Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga tying the knot. Nonetheless, it has remained one of the most popular anime of all time. It is considered one of the Big Three of anime and played a big role in making the anime and manga industry mainstream. Even after wrapping up, there seems to be no end to the fan theories.
Masashi Kishimoto’s magnum opus often made headlines due to wild fan theories. One of those fan theories was surrounding Yamato and Tsunade. Tsunade was one of the legendary Sannin and the Fifth Hokage, so it is not new for her to be the attraction for fan theories. But the one with Yamato managed to grab the audience’s attention pretty firmly.

However, Studio Pierrot would have lost its impressive anime collection, had the studio failed to pay its loans. The studio had used the intellectual property of different anime series, which also included Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto. Although Pierrot used it to finance its projects which generated massive profits, but its chilling to think that the beloved Naruto series would have ended up in a different animation studio.

Best Anime Couples of All Time — From Rom-Coms to Tragic Love Stories (Photo Credit – IMDb)
Anime and manga are famous for having the most creative ways of portraying two people falling in love. No two anime couples have the same love story, and no two series share the same premise. What’s even more fascinating is that some of the best couples in the industry are not even from romance-centric anime. In action-packed anime like “Naruto” and “Full Metal Alchemist,” you’ll find some of the most adorable and desirable couples that have set the bar too high for the poor singletons.
Some anime couples on this list are from classic/Og romance anime that practically handed out love lessons during our childhood. Unfortunately, not every couple on this list gets a fairy tale ending, and while that ordeal is sad, it shows that love — even in anime — can be realistic if done right.

Check Out the Best Anime Games of All Time, From Dragon Ball Z to Naruto (Photo Credit – IMDb)
There are plenty of anime out there that make use of the gaming trope as their premise. You know, the one where the main character gets trapped inside a video game and now has to scale through all its levels to become the strongest being alive. Isekai anime and manga are particularly fond of this trope — with the most famous ones being “No Game, No Life,” “Overlord,” and “Sword Art Online.” There’s also the newest hype in the anime world with the manhwa turned anime, Solo Levelling.
But what if we tell you some games do the opposite and use anime as their premise? Here are four fan-favorite games that have been adapted from their anime counterparts.

It's not unusual for the movies to come out of manga and anime series to feel a little off. The stories are often non-canon or otherwise abridged adaptations of ongoing story arcs, and the best thing you can hope for as a viewer is that a given movie captures some hint of what you enjoy about the series. While the movies may not hit the heights of the series, they can still deliver excellent character moments and action.
Whether or not the "Naruto" films deliver on that is up for debate. As the manga and anime series focused on the growth and development of its title character, a young ninja in a fantasy world on the path to glory, the movies give him and some of his coterie of allies non-canonical missions on which they can prove their mettle. For a series weighed down with a large number of "filler...

Streaming services are now trying to ration their upcoming original content due to the ongoing actors strike and the only recently-resolved writers’ strike, so we’re going to see a thinning-down of new releases across the board over the next six months at least. Hulu will be adding a lot of library TV shows and movies in November, but there are only a few new major original projects hitting the streamer this month.
Hulu’s spotlight streaming series in November is Black Cake, which is based on the bestselling book by Charmaine Wilkerson. Part family drama, part murder mystery, the show features a globetrotting story that will cover decades of events after a bereaved family find a flash drive that contains some shocking secrets about the hidden history of their late matriarch.

This post contains spoilers for "Oppenheimer."
"Oppenheimer" is now out in theaters. Directed by Christopher Nolan with his go-to man Cillian Murphy in the leading role, the film chronicles J. Robert Oppenheimer's involvement in the Manhattan Project from its build-up to its aftermath.
The film doesn't show the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but it does condemn them. All onscreen U.S. military and political higher-ups are gung-ho that the bombings be carried out and downright flippant about the loss of life in Japan. When Oppenheimer despairs that he has blood on his hands, President Harry Truman (Gary Oldman) eyes him with disdain and calls him a "crybaby."
Whether the bombings were justified or not is a debate that will rage far into the future. What's undeniable is that the loss of life left a scar on Japan. They hold the unique distinction of being the only country to...

Michael B. Jordan’s career as an actor is defined by numerous important films and TV shows. He’s a veteran who’s been seen on both The Wire (HBO) and Friday Night Lights (NBC). He appeared in Black Panther, and he played Apollo Creed’s son in the Creed and Creed II films, earning praise from critics for his performance. While he has been in many movies, Michael B. Jordan has interests outside of acting — like anime.

The climax of "Creed III" brings a whole new visual language to the series. As Adonis (Michael B. Jordan) and Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors) box for the title of world champion, we enter their shared headspace. The crowd disappears and the sounds of their cheering drop out, leaving just the two former friends to confront each other. Throughout the fight, whenever one boxer lands a blow, the scene goes into slow motion emphasizing specific strikes.

It feels just like last month we were complimenting Hulu on its true crime offerings. Well, with its list of new releases for February 2023, Hulu is staying in the true crime lane. Suppose that’ll happen when you push back the release date of a series or two.
February sees the arrival of three notable true crime series on Hulu. Taiwan Crime Stories premieres on Feb. 1 and presents four true tales from Taiwan’s criminal “dark underbelly.” That will be followed by ABC News Studios’ Killing County on Feb. 3. That three-episode series ponders the question “what happens when police kill?” The most interesting true crime offering premieres on Feb. 9. That’s when Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence College shares its four-episode saga of Larry Ray and the young college students he victimized.
As far as non true crime offerings go, the third and final season of Hulu...
